Description

Act 1- Inciting Incident.png A Marionette skill that stuns the enemy with a powerful charge. This part of the performance is when an unlikely encounter throws the hero's world into chaos, and she must begin a journey to find peace.

Details

  • Requires a summoned Pierrot Marionette or Colossus Marionette and a control bar equipped.
  • The marionette instantly charges into the targeted enemy and attacks, knocking them back and temporarily stunning them.
    • Pierrot Marionettes charge into the enemy, attacking with a mallet and butcher knife.
    • Colossus Marionettes do a full body charge into the enemy.
  • Unlike Charge and Lance Charge, Inciting Incident contributes to the Knockdown Gauge.
  • Both the player and the marionette must be in range of the enemy in order to use the skill.
    • When the marionette is under the influence of Act 9: Invigorating Encore, only the marionette must be in range if it is moving on its own.
  • Ignores Defense skill and Melee Auto Defense.
  • Knockback is ignored by Advanced Heavy Stander.
  • Unlike other melee skills, Act 1: Inciting Incident is a distance-based skill and therefore aims for the center of the target's hitbox. As a result, monsters with very large hitboxes, such as the Giant Spider, may be difficult to target properly.
  • Each successful use will increase the marionette's Spirit Gauge by 3%.

Skill Issues

  • Control Marionette does not properly reduce the skill's cooldown.
    • This can be remedied by unsummoning and then resummoning the marionette after using the skill.
