This skill fires at a target four times while propelling you away. This stylish sliding attack is great for getting you out of danger.
Consumes [4] Mana Bullets

Details

  • Requires Dual Guns to use.
  • Fires at a target four times, pushing them back while rolling backwards, similar to Heat Buster.
  • Consumes 4 bullets in the chamber.
    • If used without bullets in the magazine, the message "Not enough Mana Bullets." will appear and Reload will execute automatically.
  • Can be used while stunned and attacked, interrupting and knocking back the attacker.
    • However, if the user is interrupted during the start of the firing animation, the skill will fail to fire, will be forced into a cooldown, and bullets will still be used.
  • You may not load other skills in the middle of Bullet Slide's animation.
  • The multiple hits dealt by gunshots are purely cosmetic.
    • The total damage of all the hits is equal to the actual damage dealt.
      • However, unlike Pummel, enemies do not take a minimum of 1 damage per shot and therefore creatures with 100% Damage Reduction from Protection, Level 3 Natural Shield, or Invulnerability receive only 1 damage from the skill.
    • This means that Proficiency is gained and Durability is lost for only one hit rather than four times, Critical Hit is calculated only once rather than separately for each individual hit, and if a Critical Hit is scored, all four bullets will deal a Critical Hit on all enemies.
  • Unlike other Dual Gun Skills, the character will immediately attempt to execute Bullet Slide once a target has been selected and the skill has been pressed or loaded.
  • The user's position is still located at the start of the skill until its animation ends. As a result, enemies can target and attack Bullet Slide users at that area.
  • Bullet Slide triggers Defense.
  • Bullet Slide ignores an enemy's Counterattack, Lance Counter, or Chain: Counter Punch.
  • Unlike other Distance-based skills, Bullet Slide targets the edge of a creature's hitbox rather than the center of it, allowing Bullet Slide users to hit the target without going too close to it.
  • May be used directly after Grapple Shot without the need to click on the target once more.
  • At higher ranks, the player will be able to take action more quickly after executing Bullet Slide.
  • It is possible to stop sliding backwards midway in the animation by pressing the Cancel Skill Hotkey or the Press Esc to cancel skills option in the Options Dialog.
    • The player may also take any action after canceling the slide.
  • Can be used during Counterattack and Windmill's animation.
  • As a Ranged ability, the effects are shunted by Natural Shield.
    • Additionally, if its Natural Shield or Ranged Auto Defense activates, the monster will not be knocked back.

Skill Issues

  • Bullet Slide may cause displacement lag for the user, as well as anyone around the user.
    • In addition, it may seem like the user did not move from their current position at all or suddenly jet backward into their landing position.
  • Using Bullet Slide at maximum range may cause the bullets to miss.
