This category is for spinning wheels used by the weaving skill.

• Either a spinning wheel or a loom must be used to create items via the weaving skill. Spinning wheels are used to create all weaving products except fabrics and silks.
• When using a spinning wheel, both hands must be empty except when making leather straps, in which case a Gathering Knife, Sickle or sword must be equipped in the right hand.
  • It would be better to use one of the gathering tools (i.e., the Gathering Knife or Sickle) instead of a sword to make leather straps. A sword would get a poor return in the proficiency it gains for the durability it loses, as compared to use in combat. The gathering tools would be cheaper to repair and to buy more, should their total durability become zero.
