This skill attacks with spikes of divine light. The attack will deal divine damage over time and impede movement speed. It also weakens an Apostle's defense against the Smiting skill.

  • Attaches a divine spike onto a single target, dealing damage over time and decreases their Movement Speed.
    • Apostles will receive a lock-down effect when used after Shield of Trust and will cause Judgment Blade to hit for more damage.
      • The damage (%) of Judgment Blade stacks in additive for each Celestial Spike used on downed Apostles.
      • The damage caps at 100%.
      • Total Celestial Spike Rank of 7 (Rank A) or higher is required for the lock-down effect in Easy difficulty. (Ex: Rank Novice is 1, Rank A is 7, Rank 1 is 16)
      • For higher difficulties, at least total rank of 17 or higher is required for Normal and 27 or higher for Hard.
        • Have more players use Celestial Spike to amount for the required rank in higher difficulties.
    • Health reduction effect stacks with other damage over time effects such as Poison Attack or Mirage Missile, ignores Passive Defense, Invulnerability, and Mana Shield during damage calculation, and can lower a target's HP past 0 and can kill.
    • Damage over time cannot score criticals nor inflict wounds.
    • Damage over time is not influenced by the player's damage range.
    • Damage over time is reduced by the target's magical Defense and Protection.
    • The attacked enemy will aggressively aggro.
    • Will ignore obstacles such as Barrier Spikes.
    • Does not break the sleeping effects of Lullaby, Restful Wind, or Sleepy Dust.
      • Does not break the blind effect of Sand Burst, although the enemy will aggro through it.
    • If player casts Celestial Spike on a target that is currently affected by another player's Celestial Spike, the previous spike's effect will be cut short, and replaced with the new one.
      • The damages will stack, however.
  • Does not count as an attack, allowing Elves to Hide after using it.
  • The following subskills passively enhance Celestial Spikes:
    • Deepening Trust: Using Celestial Spike will restore the user's Mana.
    • Spreading Faith: Increases Celestial Spike' range.
    • Wounding Soul: Increases Celestial Spike' damage.
    • Weighed Conscience: Causes Celestial Spike to decrease the Movement Speed of enemies near the affected target.
    • Sinful Thorns: Causes Celestial Spike to deal damage over time to enemies near the affected target.
    • For allocating Crusader levels towards Celestial Spike's subskills, the following bonuses can be applied:
      • Every 5 levels allocated into Binding increases Celestial Spike's attack range by 5cm.
      • Every 7 levels allocated into Binding increases Celesital Spike's damage by 5.
  • Shares its cooldown with Judgment Blade and Shield of Trust.
  • Can be interrupted by normal attacks during execution animation, resulting in the skill to be cancelled and entering cooldown.

Training Method

Training Tips

  • Very hard mode Girgashiy's summons count for apostle kills in ranks 4 to 1. These can be used to easily train this requirement.
    • The Mineral Wolves have very low amounts of HP and can easily be killed with full HP in one use of Celestial Spike.
