Enchant.png
Enchanting is the art of imbuing an object with magical effects. However, the scrolls that contain these enchantments can be fragile, and if used alone, may crumble to dust if the attempt fails. However, by learning the Enchant skill, you'll be able to use Magic Powder as a medium to transfer the effect from scroll to equipment, making such tragic outcomes far less commonplace. You can use the Enchant skill alone to attempt an enchant, but seasoned enchanters recommend using the skill while holding a bottle of Magic Powder in your right hand and an Enchant Scroll in your left. If you choose to protect the Enchant Scroll, only the piece of equipment you're trying to enchant will be damaged in the event of a failed enchant attempt. On the other hand, if you choose to protect the equipment, the Enchant Scroll will absorb the brunt of a failed enchant attempt, destroying it.

Training Method

Tips

  • Passive enchantment (without activating the Enchant skill and using a Magic Powder) will not fulfill any of the Enchant skill's training methods.
  • Generating a "great success" is completely random. A player's Enchant skill rank and an Enchant Scroll's rank have no bearing on this.
  • Enchanting pages into the collection books for Fireball, Arrow Revolver, and Shock count towards training the skill. Since it is not possible to fail using these pages, the only result generated will be a "success."
    • As with an Enchant Scroll, to generate an Enchant skill training "success," a page must be equipped on the left hand, with a Magic Powder on the right. Passive enchantment can be used to add pages to their respective collection books, but this will not generate a "success."
  • An easy way to train the skill is to run Alby or Ciar Beginner dungeons, and use the Enchant Scrolls obtained as rewards from the end room chests. Fishing on the Fishing Boat will also get you low rank enchants fairly easily, although this process is quite time consuming.
    • Pets with area-of-effect damage skills that trigger upon summoning can be used to clear Alby extremely quickly, and facilitate Enchant Scroll farming. Examples of such pets are: Flame Horses, Pegasi, Dragons, and Scooters.
  • Another good method is the shadow mission Enemy Behind on basic level. It can be completed in a short amount of time and beginner enchant scrolls do count towards training if used with Magic Powder. Furthermore, An additional enchant scroll (Either Rank B Delicate or Rank 9 Difficult) can also be obtained from the end chest, thus it is possible to get two scrolls per run making training that much quicker.
    • In addition, since all players will receive a beginner enchant scroll upon clearing a basic level mission, having multiple people assist you in the missions can both speed up the clear time of the mission, and yield more enchants per run.
  • Another method is to use Enchant Burning on items with low value enchants (such as a Gathering Knife with a Hamster Hunter's Prefix, which is a monster drop from Goblins), use the Enchant Scroll received on a cheap item (such as another Gathering Knife), and repeat until the Enchant Burning of an item fails.
    • However, this method is inefficient due to the costs of a Mana Herb and a Holy Water of Lymilark per attempt, so it is best to only use this method when you need to successfully use Enchant Burning (such as in the training methods for the Enchant skill ranks F to 8).
  • The player also can use Adventurer Seals to buy Skill Training Seals from the Seal Merchant in order to train Enchant. It costs 470 Adventurer Seals per rank (assuming that no training has been done in that rank), so it is advised to gather all the Adventurer Seals each day on every character and transfer them to the Enchant character through the Bank in order to train that rank faster, and to only use the Seals on hard to train ranks.
