Description

The Panda has long been a favorite of many people because of its friendly, adorable and cuddly appearance with patches of black around its eyes. They almost fit better as a doll in a toy store than in the wild forest nibbling on bamboo trees.

The Panda is one of the rarest and most endangered species in the world. Making it so difficult for most people to come across this mysterious animal in real life that only through the fantasy life of Erinn is it possible for the Panda to be raised as a pet.

In real life, Pandas may be an adorable bunch with slow, easy-going behavior, but Pandas in Erinn feature excellent combat skills, making them a prime side-kick.

Pandas have a very acute sense of hearing, enabling them to navigate their way through the thick, dark bamboo forest with ease. So it comes as no surprise that they are very fond of music. When Pandas hear their masters play a beautiful tune, they tend to follow the rhythm and start dancing around in joy.

With their outstanding Strength, Stamina and HP, Pandas innately possess a talent for combat skills such as Smash, Defense, Critical Hit and Combat Mastery. Another quality to point out is that Pandas' Smash skill improves much faster than other animals'.

As their masters, when you are near Panda, they will provide you with buff effects in your HP and Stamina, making them a great source of support in many battle situations.

Notes

• This pet was sold in NA's Premium Shop from August 7th to August 28th, 2008 and July 25th to 27th, 2011. However, they are still sold in other localizations.
• At the end of the Beijing Summer Olympic Games, Nexon randomly gave out Pandas to players on each server based on the number of gold medals that the USA won in the Olympics of 2008.
  • The Beijing Summer Olympic Games started on August 8th and ended on August 24th.
  • For each gold medals the USA won, 1 Panda would be given out to a random account in each server.
  • For example, if the USA won 50 gold medals, 150 Pandas would be given out for free; 50 for Tarlach, 50 for Ruairi and 50 for Mari.
    • USA won 36 gold medals as the end of the Olympic Games, which means 108 Pandas were given out: 36 for Tarlach, 36 for Ruairi, and 36 for Mari.
      • The Pandas cards winners were listed on September 16th, 2008. The list of winners is here.
      • The Panda cards were given out on September 23rd, 2008.
• Each Panda came with a Panda Gachapon in its inventory. The player must login as the Panda character to use the Gachapon, and then login as the human character and take the resulting item from the pet's inventory.
• The Panda was also a prize from the Mystery Box (Sept. 2010) from September 22nd to October 5th, 2010.
