Artifacts found from exploration

They can now be sold to any NPC to receive there full explore exp value.. an gold if applied on the item description.. i also received a 39,700ish coin from the box making the value rise to at least 40k if not higher

Baxcel (talk)20:11, 13 September 2014

Why'd you take out giving them to Voight...? He still traditionally accepts them doesn't he?

Infodude575 (talk)20:24, 13 September 2014

because as of treasure hunter update all artifacts can be sold to any npc for there value..

Baxcel (talk)20:26, 13 September 2014

And? Voight still takes them traditionally, so why kick him out the door?

Infodude575 (talk)20:39, 13 September 2014

This is more correct and more informative.

Mystickskye (talk)22:37, 13 September 2014

Unless Voight is not one of "any NPC", he was not "kicked out of the door".

iDSd01:44, 14 September 2014

Point is, Voight's feature of taking artifacts isn't gone, so I don't see why it shouldn't be mentioned at all.

Infodude575 (talk)11:55, 14 September 2014

Because it's clearly not JUST VOIGHT anymore. It's everyone with a shop. There is literally no point to mentioning any one of any item with a certain property when you can label the whole class. It's like saying all soda cans, as well as Coke cans, are made of aluminum.

Shroom Fonzerelli (talk)12:18, 14 September 2014

Since Voight has a main function of restoring and accepting artifacts, I think he should get a mention. You can sell to Voight in his shop, and he can take it with his artifact function. Two different ways.

Meru (talk)12:25, 14 September 2014

However, both methods give the same results. Since this artifact cannot be appraised for a higher value, there is no difference in turning it in to Voight or selling it to any npc shop.

If the artifact could be appraised or each path had different results then there would be a point in mentioning Voight.

iDSd15:28, 14 September 2014

You don't get skill training if you don't turn it into Voight, though.

Meru (talk)15:49, 14 September 2014

They're two separate methods. End of story.

Yinato (talk)17:15, 14 September 2014

Yes, thank you Meru. That's exactly what I was trying to say.

Infodude575 (talk)12:27, 14 September 2014

I see now what you meant when you said traditionally.

edit: I changed it to reflect the fact you can also sell to food carts, partners, etc.

Shroom Fonzerelli (talk)12:40, 14 September 2014

haha wow.. sorry for sparking a whole debate here.. but yah i agree it should be noted that it can be sold to any shop as well as Voight..

i was just trying to put it down so people would know they could sell it to any npc sence the wings from Treasure dungeons auto take you to your last safe revive location.. usually being a town
