Since yesterday's maintenance I'm now seeing them called "Apostle Ring".

EDIT: Nope, Gir dropped a "Disciple Ring". Where did Apostle Rings come from in the first place?

Yep, they can be obtained (alongside other mats) from the Apostle raid after g19, and will be used in Magic Craft and Engineering to make the new weapons!
