Anyone notice how similar they look? Same braids of hair, eye color, face. Did she actually become Lia Fail's offering instead of Millia, or is this "just a coincidence"?

Not only that, their eye and eyebrow shape is identical, almost copypasta'd. Too bad we can't see if Macha also has that mole.

Episode 3 and Akule = Lelach pretty much says coincidences don't exist in the Saga.

You know, it's hard to get rid of a beauty mark like that, even through some sort of metamorphosis that takes place beyond all reason. Maybe there's other females in the organization. I fail to see how one can claim "same braids of hair" when the two have clearly different hair styles, which are similar only in that they contain braids.

I said "same braids of hair". I didn't say "same hairstyle".

They actually are the same hairstyle, being one who has looked at the model. It's just Macha's is longer and less messy.

... This is just a coincidence. Cessair's Heart is laying down on the floor sleeping while Macha's just flaunting her looks and magic and shit.

Cessair's heart poofs during the process, there are a lot of errors in the cutscenes in terms of non-textual. For example, Lia Fail keeps poofing, we cut Millia in half, etc.

I agree, someone saw Bella in place of Ruairi on the ground. Based on the dialogue, I'm of the understanding that Cessair's heart took Millia's power to become Macha.

I saw Heart lying on the ground during the cutscenes with Macha.

Oh, probably an oversight then, or some sort of plothole they didn't get a chance to explain (if they even know about it). For now, in the spoilers, let's not say heart turned into Macha, rather that Macha has an odd resemblance and she appeared.

Calling is a coincidence with a definite wording isn't correct either, avoid words like "is" and "identical". And just to be safe, lets use the word similar instead of the same (and braids sounds better than braids of hair).

They look nothing alike, they just both have prideful faces. Their colour palettes are completely different:

Macha:

• Hair: Red
• Eyes: Red
• Skin: White

Heart:

• Hair: Blonde
• Eyes: Orange
• Skin: Peach

Their eye shapes are sort of similar, but only as similar as anyone with that facial phenotype is in anime. The only similarity between their braids is that they both have braids. Your distinction of "braids of hair" vs "hair style" doesn't really make sense, either. Their number of, placement of, and size of braids are all different.

We can't really rely on color for this; Tieve(the girl in Vindictus that turned into Morrighan) was blonde.

Tieve and Morrighan look nothing alike, either. So by that logic, we can't rely on anything. Anyone and anything could be the prevolution of Macha.

Also I was under the impression this was about "currently is" for instance "Macha in disguise", where Tieve permanently transformed.

Either way, it's devalued its mention on the main article.

There were some similarities like their hair style, hair length, outfit and poses(they both keep their hands together in front of their chests a lot, there aren't many other characters in Mabi and Vindi that do that). Also, Triona and Millia both have multiple braids and strange pendants like Macha.

I'm not saying any of that needs to be in the article, I'm just pointing out that color alone isn't enough.

Tieve and Morrighan have identical face models in Vindictus. Also, there is no character portrait of Morrighan in Vindictus by which to compare to Tieve's portraits. That being said, it should be considered that they are identical facially until proven otherwise.

Pyrus, how similar are the in-game models of Heart and Macha...?

Only a bit, I'll get a side by side pic later. Edit: [1] They share similar placement of bangs on their braids, and they both have bangs (though parted in opposite directions). I cannot get a good angle to tell if here's a mole or not, I'll try do some model editing later to remove her hair to hopefully make it easier. (Or see if its in her texture.)

Tldr, they are considerably different, but it's obvious they are based on eachother.

EDIT: Well, I saw someone shapeshift into Macha and I don't see the mole on her face.

Ya, which is why I wanted to use a model editing tool to see if it's behind her hair.

Just putting this out there, the Lia Fail in G1-3 was to merge a mortal with a dead goddess, in both cases in C1, Macha. Cessair could have easily done the same thing in the Saga, against Black Mask's will.

Remember what they said, tuathas age slower than regular people (or at least, compared to reality). 100 years there might be equivalent to like 40 here.
