Enchant restrictions are wrong.

The restrictions on the electric guitar regarding enchants are inaccurate so I edited the page to reflect that.

Perhaps there were some older models that had enchant restrictions?

Odinxcore (talk)17:55, 2 January 2018

Seems to be the case! When initially released, the guitar could only be enchanted with Exciting and Garden. Question now is whether there are two versions of the guitar (restricted, and non-restricted) or if Nexon just updated all the guitars to be non-restricted. ...think I may have an old version that I remember being restricted - I'll have to find it and see if that's still the case (for "historical" accuracy if nothing else :D).

Elide (talk)10:53, 4 January 2018

I think that is a reasonable assessment, I know my Orange/Gold Xbow from gacha doesn't have piercing, so I would think maybe there might exist 2 Electric Guitars as well.

Odinxcore (talk)18:44, 4 January 2018

Stats on an existing instance of a weapon are fixed and don't change with updates (like older ranged weapons missing piercing), but enchantability is checked through tags at the time it's attempted, and tags are based on the item class (so they do update themselves now and then). I checked to be sure, and it looks like they removed/lifted/changed the restrictions on all the guitar models.

Good to know, thank you for investigating, and that insight about item checks during enchanting.

Enchant Restrictions?

Does the available version have enchant restrictions?

The guitars that say "Usable [Enchant Scrolls]: Exciting" and "Usable [Enchant Scrolls]: Garden" won't let me enchant with anything other than those specific enchants. Jirachistar (talk) 10:18, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

All electric guitars to date have them. even the ones in JP.

Out of the most recent gachapon (Divine) there are guitars without enchant restrictions. On the other hand, Solar Glory Guitars (at least, the one I have) have enchant restrictions listed here.

Gem Upgrade and Artisan

The guitar doesn't seem to have any gem upgrades? I have 5/5 and full prof but no one has an upgrade listed that I've gone too.

Also the Artisan doesn't appear to give Music buff. I got many variations that fit within the min-max of the other 3 stats, but out of 4 or 5 resets I didn't get any music buff at all, which obviously isn't a guarantee, but seems pretty likely.

Ebrithil of Ruari (talk)15:17, 15 April 2013

Yeah, someone simply copy/pasted the table from another article based on very few upgrades..

Yeah, that's me...

Not on very few upgrades. There are only 6 total upgrades, which are the same for every instrument except the Lyre. And the other 3 stats of the Artisan fit perfectly, its just the music buff.

Ebrithil of Ruari (talk)19:34, 15 April 2013

I see now that it always said there was no gem upgrades. That's a bummer.

Ebrithil of Ruari (talk)23:45, 15 April 2013

No, someone made that edit to accommodate this thread.

Also, apparently, the Electric Guitar does have its own set of upgrades, but because Nexon, unsurprisingly, messed up, it takes on the upgrades of a Mandolin.

Yeah. At the moment, its quite confuzzling. Once I get my thingy all set up for upgrades, this should be cleared up.

Oh? How'd you find that out?

And oh.. lol.

MML coding

Would it be appropriate to explain the special way guitars handle MML coding on this page and/or MML

Ajmgallop15 (talk)18:13, 31 March 2013

Considering it uses distortions to make another range of 4 or so? probably yeah.

S•A•R•I•A (talk)18:30, 31 March 2013

Tasket has confirmed on the forums that there is currently something wrong with the sound settings for the Electric Guitar, so it will probably be fixed in the future.

LittlesnowEU (talk)00:18, 1 April 2013

the only notes that are off are the a and a+ on the fifth octave as far as i can tell.

Can somebody find out the upgrades for this item?
