EXP Chart Expansion

needs to be expanded to 99, since people are hitting above 60+ now these days. D: --Lonetalker 05:19, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Then those users have to help out the wiki. People who aren't hitting above 60 won't know the EXP needed to get to the next level, so we can't exactly help out, unless a wiki editor can get a full chart from another wiki or site or something. ~Rusty~
The experience table progression is given by a simple cubic equation which is right on the top of the page. -_- I went ahead and did 61-80; if you find a need for more, break out a calculator and do it yourself. --Naiya 09:36, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Looks like the equation changed since the Iria patch. Now it takes less exp to level up. Not a big difference though. -- Saphryu 10:14, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

  • Correction: Since Iria the amount of exp needed to level has gone dramatically. Level 50 requires almost half that of what it used to be. And every level afterward is still excruciatingly less than before. Suupii 8:53 pm, April 30 2009

GOD my old guild leader got to lvl 108 in 4 weeks ._.

Monster Exp.

Working to get a TRUE listing of experience given, input is appreciated. How do we want to fix the rest of the site? Also as far As i know, cp does not affect Exp. Deathbob 06:40, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Should there also be another column for dungeon exp numbers? Deathbob 07:22, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
The chart takes up a lot of space on the page. Also, it's kinda of hard to determine a monsters EXP given, since you'll get less and less at certain level. Even so, if you could determine it, I think it would be best to leave the EXP amounts for each monster in their specific page. The EXP chart isn't a guide to teach you where to train and what to kill to get a fair amount of exp at your level. ~Rusty~
Would its own page with a see also be more appropriate? Or just make it part of my profile pages?Deathbob 16:17, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
On your profile would probably be the most appropriate--Jacobpaige 19:01, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Moved to profile page. I left some equations that i have been working on. I find them to be informative. Input would be greatly appreciated. What is the reasoning behind the title "Experience Chart" Deathbob 21:36, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
What do you mean less at certain level? I thought that the only change was you got 0 when it was considered "Weak Mob" Deathbob 16:23, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
This cold explain some discrepancies from what I observe for bears vs what is listed on site. Deathbob 15:36, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Info

Checked the info on the Character page In-Game and found a wrong number. I think we should check the In-Game thing first, before using calculations to mess with our minds >_> --Zephyre 6:25, 5 March 2009

Levels

The last time i checked out the files for mab, im pretty sure there were 200 values for EXP, meaning level 200 max? --Kevin (•Talk•) 04:16, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

revival options unavailable with low exp

wow, that was fast. Lilaznkevin reworded the line i added to exp loss in the 10 seconds before i looked at it again...

anyway, i noticed that a long time ago, like back in g1 when i died enough for my exp to get that low, and the game gave me a low exp message when i tried to use "revive here", and just now i realized i should add it here, but i only know this is true for revive here, have not checked with the other ones, and I have no idea what happens if your exp is to low to use Nao. Sozen Cratos Focker 01:30, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

I'll test it soon. ;D --Kevin (•Talk•) 01:56, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Ty --Sozen Cratos Focker 02:01, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
you know when you try to log out after fighting and it says you will lose money and exp, but if u have no money it says ---exp and 0gold... thats what happens, you just loose all the exp you ever had... and have to revive in town/nao o.o... no test in dungeon which i am guessing you could just revive at statue for same effect —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wuberfeca (talkcontribs) . Ignoring the previos comment, your EXP cannot get low enough to not use Nao/Revive in town. Even if you get to -100% exp, you can still revive with one of those for no additional loss.

Level 200+

"Based on a (Chinese) foreign server, after level 200 the exp becomes incorrectly calculated client side, but it is possible to go past it. However, it is still unknown if we have a lv 200 cap as we import our data from the Korean servers. "

So above level 200, you'd need more than 100% client side to level up? Or would the EXP just break and start showing weird values? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ragnikarth (talkcontribs) . Please always sign your comments with the Signature.png button or by typing ~~~~!

Erm... geting to lvl 200 would mean about 10billion... or 1 billion exp if im wrong... thats quite a bit ciar advs.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wuberfeca (talkcontribs) . Please always sign your comments with the Signature.png button or by typing ~~~~!

I have no clue when the above statement was made, but I would like to add that to hit 200 requires 338 million exp (considering how most HM or Elite SM's with a finest potent shadow crystal give around 1 mil exp [more or less including mob exp] and hunting outlaws gives 100k per homestead, lets say 150k per every 10 mins [accounting for occasional outlaw and mob exp], based on my activity of spending about four hours per day hunting outlaws, and doing two daily missions per day, that comes out to 5.6 mil exp per day [that would be a lesser estimation since it has been four days since my RB and i'm lvl 125 with a ballpark area of 47 mil exp total] then it would take me 60 days of this, and 120 potent finest shadow crystals to reach lvl 200 from lvl 1. another look is if I just hunted bandits for six hours instead... 5.4 mil per day, would still take me 62 days to reach cap. 62 days of hardcore training. (this was added just to reference what it would take to reach lvl 200. If it is possible to hit 201, I might find out as I'm trying for cap level. Will provide screenshots if I hit 201, but might give up after 20 or 30 mil extra exp past 200 and 100%.--Linxindao (talk) 22:41, 8 January 2013 (PST)

The numbers for that are very old... perhaps even when experience scaled like the current exploration? It's possible the number of exp would overflow and display improperly. That's just my theory, but if it's correct, you'll need to go far past 200 to break it. -Doomsday31415 (talk) 12:54, 2 March 2013 (PST)
I just checked the numbers... in chapter 1, level 200 required a total of almost 1.5 billion exp. -Doomsday31415 (talk) 13:07, 2 March 2013 (PST)

Alternate ways of gaining EXP?

Besides killing monsters, doing quests, etc., there seems to be some other methods of gaining EXP. I noticed that while I was gathering herbs to rank up Production Mastery (not a great method, but I can at least do it while dungeoning), my EXP went up a little. I am not talking about EXP for Production Mastery, I mean the regular EXP gained from killing monsters. According to my exact EXP on the Character Information window, I gain 9 exp (not 9%, 9 exp) for each successful herb gathered. In addition, a friend of mine supposedly leveled up one day while Weaving. Although this is obviously not a great way to earn EXP, can anyone verify if training (not ranking) skills can give you regular exp? Also, has this been mentioned anywhere else? --Ryo 18:59, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Yes, you gain level EXP every time you gain EXP for training a skill, or so I have noticed. --Aramet (Talk) 19:16, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
The Tara Banquest also gives EXP- I think you get 90,000 if you stay there the whole time. IHarryl 21:11, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Exploration Level Cap

I've always thought the exploration level cap was 25, but when i recently got my exploration to 25 and looked at the Exploration Chronicle, it said "Next Level : 262500". Does this mean that exploration can go past 25? I would like to prove this myself but I am not willing to do it; getting to 25 was painstakingly hard enough. --ZephyreTALK 08:17, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

I think you can gain the exp needed for lv26, but you can't actually level it up without completing the non-existant cap quest ~kotarou3 TALKCONTRIBS 08:20, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Any way to find out sources of ways to get Crusader EXP efficiently? Having a tough time with the extremely limited amount gained from some activities...

Alban Knights Training, or doing "Raid" missions (or even Soloing) seems like a few ways, but Crusader EXP for the former is purposely gimped to require many many many playthroughs to get 1 level up...

Dra6o0n (talk)01:26, 31 August 2019

If you're on the Nao server, Nossx3 hosts raids for girg dailies just about every day on channel 4 at 8:30 PM PST. Definitely getting the daily missions and weekly missions seems to be the best source of crusader EXP. The title "The New Divinity" will earn you 5% more exp and there's also the Ancient Alban Knights Robes will give you 10% extra exp.

Kasekinz (talk)12:35, 1 September 2019

The majority of the exp you're expected to get come from Apostle Raid quests, both the Weekly and the Daily. Baltane missions sometimes awards exp pots, and Alban training rewards a small amount of exp. But for both of those the Daily Quests would on average reward you more and you're probably able to get up to the Mid-Completion Bonus every day by combining Solo-able Girg. and Solo-able Hasi. requirements.

Crusader level cap after G20 update?

Has anyone been able to confirm whether the Crusader level cap has been increased to 300 or remained at 225 after the G20 update? Not that it matters too much since I doubt anyone is even close to reaching it any time soon, but for the sake of completion it would be good to update the chart if it has.

Crusader Level

Would it make sense to put the Crusader Level table on this page? (Credits to User:Tsukuyomai for the table)

On a side note, should the two/three tables be tabbed?

Since the page has information about experience and not just about charts anymore, I think "chart" should be taken out of the page's name. Any agreements or objections?

I was thinking this the other day, agreed.

It hasn't yet, which is (probably) why no one has done anything with this. I'm not sure why Pyro keeps bumping this while the change has yet to take effect in NA.

And we never add future formulas to pages? Didn't we do that with the previous experience formula revamp?

Kapra - (Talk)20:11, 29 December 2013

I'm not going to even bother going through the history, but even so, that does not necessarily mean it must be added before it comes out. If you want it on the page before it's out that badly, add it.

Maximum total level?

Is anyone aware if there even is one? I know that the journals for cumulative levels up to 10,000, but do they stop there?

Anemki09:10, 23 April 2012

No they don't actually. It goes as far as...hmm let's see...probably there's a 25K in Korea...I guess no limit? I would think as far as end game stats (max/capped skills in all ranks) I'd think there be no limit.

☽ミ☆カ☆ヤ☾09:40, 23 April 2012

They probably didn't think anyone would reach a six-digit total so most likely 99k. (But you can completely rank ever skill out so far long before then.)

Pyro - (Talk)13:18, 23 April 2012

and have AP for later skills...not that it matters but...ya super Brionac abuse :D

☽ミ☆カ☆ヤ☾15:05, 23 April 2012

Oh wow, thanks. I didn't even think it would go that high, but that's ridiculous.

Anemki17:44, 23 April 2012

Let me just sneak in here that leveltotal is a unsigned integer (32 bits) in the packets. So theoretically, the maximum total level is 4,294,967,295. That's four billion, two hundred ninety-four million, nine hundred sixty-seven thousand, two hundred ninety-five.

Assuming you reached that, your next level up would either crash the server, or it would roll back around to 0. So you'd be a total level 0 with endgame stats and WAY too much AP.

Of course, server mechanics could be in place to limit this value to a more sane amount, but I doubt it.
