Rank 3 has double "Counter an enemy's special attack" in the training list

it should be "Watch an enemy use Counterattack."

Watch an enemy use counter = trigger the enemy counter with a melee attack. It also trains normal counter attack.

I know that. What I'm asking is if it works on normal Counterattack because the only enemy who knows Lance Counter is Lileas.

Bringing this back up: Standby time should be 3 seconds...

The timer should have been at least 3 seconds. Using *coughcough* methods, the skill automatically cancels 3 seconds after it finishes loading (with a few more milliseconds because of delay/lag).

 

Lag: the enemy of all things related to timing.

Critical Rate may actually be Critical Damage. :l

I don't know if it's critical damage instead of critical rate, but from what I'm seeing, crit only applies the monsters critical hit skill, not your own. Not sure if that helps in, well, any way, but that's what I've seen over my year and a half as a lancer.

Like normal Counterattack, the Critical Hit chance for Lance Counter depends solely on the target's Critical rate, plus the skill's Critical Hit bonus. Player's base Critical rate is ignored.

That wasn't a damage, it was a row from the localization files.

Anyone know what happens to the animation when the load time disappears? Is it still there?
