Talk:Magic Fusion

From Mabinogi World Wiki

YAY question. Do the two people need to be partied? --♫ѕταя♪ 20:24, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Yes, they need to be in a party together in order for the magic to fuse. ~Skye♥

Has anyone actually tested a proper fusion with more than 2 people in a party?--dra6o0n

The single and only alternative is all hree combined. I have not yet been successfull.--Skynet 05:47, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
I have the answer. I charged fire next to people that were doing ice and lightning in my party and only one got fire. Im not sure what priority the skills have in terms of fusion though. It might be randomised, set, or just by timing. I also don't remember how close i was so that possibly affected it. --Zaros 06:25, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Staffs Can be used instead of wands in later gen right? --Zaros 06:31, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

The supposed "staffs" are merely 2 handed wands (I think 2-handed, may be just large) and are listed under the wand pages. And yes, very probably.Novaix 10:36, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Hey, does anyone want to test if the rank of each caster matters? And further more, if elements are nullified or changed. (Specifically would Fire/Ice affect a wisp more? Would Ice/Lightning Decimate a red skeli?)--Kingrussel 14:47, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Rank affects damage and cast time. Both casters have to end within roughly half a second after the first finishes. Start time does not matter; you just have to end together basically.--Tricky B 17:41, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Question: Can you fuse all 3 Elements into one? The "Ultimate" Element. :D ~ Darkblade132

No. --Link 21:42, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Hidden Skills

The hidden skills seem to apply effects to the attacks, this includes critical--Hengsheng120 20:58, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Casting Time

They do NOT have to end at the same time, but they have to end NEARLY at the same time. I've done plenty of magic fusions, and never did they all end at the same time. They were about .5 seconds apart. --Kevin Talk«) 01:05, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Chaincasting

With regards to the chaincasting-not-being-able-to-use-with, could it be possible if they chaincast the same amount? (i.e. 2 people with a +2 chaincast ice and +2 chaincast fire, would it be possible for them to chaincast?) Could someone test this, as it'll be a while until I find the money to get me a chaincast wand.Novaix 10:36, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Apparently, it is no good. --Miyuna 23:27, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Damage?

Does anyone know if it means current or total levels? Purity464

Probably they just mean your stats, which are affected by your level --Sephy 20:20, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
As far as I've seen, the damage appears to be equal to Damage A + Damage B + Int Bonus A + Int Bonus B. Essentialy its both damages mixed. Ie Ice lightning does 80 + 150 + 30 + 30 or 280 damage max for both people having r1 and 300 int. Furthermore, any magic damage boosts (Ie wand/gear bonuses) will be added as well. Does Magic Fusion work with Advanced Wands?

Does Magic Fusion work with Advanced Wands? ~kotarou3 TALKCONTRIBS 07:17, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

Advanced...wands...? BladeBlade 12:10, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
I think they mean the Crystal Lightning Wand, Phoenix Fire Wand, and Crown Ice Wand? --Aramet (Talk) 16:11, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Yes I Do, and It does work. ~kotarou3 TALKCONTRIBS 08:15, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Lightning chain

Does anyone know if lightning's extra chaining with 2 or 3 users effect happens with Ice Lightning or Fire Litning? and if not, then does anyone on mari want to help me check?--Sozen Cratos Focker 07:37, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

A friend of mine and I use icelightning to clear heavy mobs on occasion. It doesn't seem to pick up the extra targets from other people since I've never seen it hit more than 5 enemies with the max charges and it never seemed to push back an enemy on the last charge without enough hits beforehand regardless of proximity to the cast partner. It appears not to have lightnings static attribute, but I'd need a controlled enviroment to verify 100%. I've used firelightning in peaca, and I've never seen it hit multiple targets with the 1 charge that we spam. Tellos 07:47, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Remember that you activate a different (hidden) skill when you do magic fusion, so it would not have the exact same effects as lightning unless devcat made it so.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 10:11, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

i'm on mari, "Kintanara" is my username i don't have a wand yet but i have bolt mastery!

Trinity Staff

Would a Trinity Staff work in magic fusion or do you have to have a specific wand, because going to get one sooner or later and i want to know if it will work, so i can get fusion bolt?

Rmt38717:48, 13 June 2012

Nope, you cannot do fusion magic with staves.
