From Mabinogi World Wiki

Special functions

Report_Box! makes your pet run to the non-mimic chest (in a four chest room with 3 mimics, one chest has the key, pet runs to that chest). And it barks if there is no key chest. This is for the pets that have the "detects mimic" function

Pick_item! seems to make your pet pick up your item and run to (but not pick up) others' items. Again, this is for pets with a special function. (picking up your items)

Pet AI Settings / Commands

Is there anything--and I mean anywhere--in regard to the Pet AI? I am trying to find a place to make a page (or something like it) that the basic Mode AI can be displayed, as well as well-defined, User-created AI, but I haven't found anything yet. If nothing can be made, then I'm trying to find where I can make templates for the hide/show boxes for my User Page, so I may display them there, in addition to my own AI. --Launa 00:15, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Found. --Launa 00:39, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
As far as I know, no one has created an AI page yet, if you want to make one then just type Pet AI in the search field and choose to create the page when it offers.--Jacobpaige 00:24, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
We don't want user-made AIs posted on the wiki. That's what the forum is for. However, an explanation on basic AI functions and editing would be welcome. ---Angevon
Ah, okay. Can the posting of the Basic AI be done, though? Perhaps with an explanation of what each variable means?
And, is there anything against having personal AIs in show/hide boxes on my user page? I ask because I have seen at least one user with an AI in his/her user page. --Launa 00:38, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
That's fine. You can make a page for it like Pet AI maybe. Oh that page is already made. Basic Pet AI then? Or just expand the existing page. Whatever you want. ---Angevon
I'll probably expand and totally re-edit the existing page, just so it's all uniform for others to tear apart, but as I stated to Jacobpaige below, I don't know the formatting codes yet, so that's my only problem. --Launa 01:31, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Don't know why it didn't show up the first time i searched for it, but Pet AI could definitely use some expansion. Particularly with regard to a detailed explanation of how to make a custom AI--Jacobpaige 00:53, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Well, I can give the raw data and explanations, but the formatting of the information is where I come up short, because I don't fully understand HTML, CSS, or whatever other code is used to format these pages. --Launa 01:31, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Does anyone who knows the formatting code for the Wiki pages think that something similar to the AI Rule Wizard GUI can be programed into a page? I was thinking that it might work best for explaining if it is semi- or totally interactive, but I don't know if that would take up too much effort. What I mean is, having a graphic table with scroll bars that, if you select something, it displays the corresponding information in another part of the table, and possibly having the ability to convert the GUI into the AI "code". (Am I making sense, or is this too complicated for practical use?) --Launa 19:37, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Bolt Skills

If I'm correct, a pet does not charge a bolt skill unless it has an enemy selected. Maybe this note should be added to the commands list? --Price 15:54, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Windmill comand?

does anyone know if there is a command for Windmill? i know a few users were wondering about it. i'm wondering how they got the pets in the preview video to do the AI where they guard--chrissy of hailfire 07:57, 31 August 2009 (UTC) i added in the comands once i found them.--chrissy of hailfire 02:39, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Search Function

The command for it isn't there. By typing, "Search!" with any pet, it opens up a window that allows a player to type in an item name, hit go, and the pet will go sit on a personal shop with that item when within range. It's very useful when on packed channels, and the range is very far.--XxxTarlachxxx 21:10, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
