  • [10/30] I thought I put one for 10/29... oh well. Too bad. The font used in the name "Mabinogi" at the log in screen and just about everywhere else, the name of that font is "Another Hand Font". kthxbai.
  • [10/28] Toward the end of yesterday, I managed to do all those funky things at the top of my page, and was working on a "rainbow siggy" (at the bottom), but then was rudely interrupted by my parents and sent off to bed. I shall go finish that now.
  • [10/27] KEEP THIS IN MIND, yea. Whenever you upload a new version of a file (or at least whenwver I do) it tends to lag, Wait a few minutes or so for it to change, and then decide if you wanna revert it.
  • [10/26] I finally figured out what I was going to be for Halloween, I was going to dress up as a guy (probably not though, I just wanna wear a tie :3), but my friend was like "What are you talking about? You don't need a costume, you already are a guy". I got sad. :C
  • [10/25]On Friday, 10/23 (yes, the funfact of today, 10/25, took place 2 days ago) I was teased for, quote, "reading the dictionary again", unquote, because of the fact that I knew what the word "epiphany" meant. ;.;

Hah, this was a funny quote. "WOAH, WOAH, WOAH! DUDE, APPLE BOTTOM JEANS!". If I recall correctly, in that context, "Apple bottom jeans" = "What's your problem?"


That one theory thing I have about exploration, probably outdated. See, this is what happens when you have too much free time, you come up with odd theories that don't have any basis whatsoever.

For those things that are too important to be on that top banner/rectangle thing up there

  1. I find it rather irritating to see that like.. the icon of something on a list of that item is different than the icon on that item's page, when it really should be the same. Like the NPCs list.. *twitch* So... ANNOYING.
    Edit:Specifically referring to that, the transparency makes the file so much larger than it has to be. (I know I'm a hypocrite with that little case of that one icon, blame OCD). I mean, specifically Eluned (I'm working on my way to changing the file extensions to the smaller-sized version, just change the title (on the address bar) to .png or something) the .jpg version is like 84kb, and the .png version is 360kb. Its probably just me, because I have a really crappy computer, but I'm REAAAALLLLYYYYYYYY picky when it comes to saving space. And this is no exception. *slams fist on the table* I request the authority to have this heard out and considered. kthxbai.
    Edit2: Okay, I'll admit, white and blue doesn't look too great, but I can't say nothing (a transparent background) looks any better. *twitch* In the case of Dougal and Morc, there isn't a .jpg picture, I don't think there is at least, but still.... *claws at my hair*

  1. If, lets say, you have an ego at social 1, and you feed it something, and it gives the max amount of points. Later, at social level... lets say, 15, you feed it that same something (at the same mood state, etc.etc.) and it still gives max. Then is it safe to say that from 2-14, it still gives the max amount of points? (at the same mood state, etc.etc.etc.)

I play in the Mari server, and my main character is Reimstar. (yay.) I'm currently in the guild "Grimangels" and I'd put the forum homepage, yes we actually have our own website, credits to Crowette (May) for making it :D, but I don't know if I'm allowed to advertise it here. ;^; Um... I'm normally on channel 7, unless I change channels for some odd unknown reason. (I don't normally attend events, such as the cooking contest, pvp wars, guild battle (though I think that's on every channel) etc.) And to top it all off, I'm weird. ._.????

Mini's Mini Tips

I forgot to mention, but if you somehow made it all the way down here without getting your eyes fried, then you won't mind reading this little bit, right? :D
When I make little Mini things, I refer to myself as Mini, because that was what my alias was for a VERY long time (like... years. o-o) So then the guide would be something like "Mini's Mini _____". Corny huh?
Also: Look at ZRoc's page on a bunch of other stuff regarding coded stuff in the wiki.
Oh yea! Check out Miyani's page too. She's working on this awesome dye-template..thing. :D I'm so excited to see it implemented~ So. Here are just a few tips to remember when editing/adding on new things to the wiki:

  1. Well, for starters, you could go here. It's a good way to get like.. a... whatsitcalled.. a... push in the right direction? I guess, it provides a lot of tips that you'll probably come across, and it makes this wall of text a bit shorter.
    1. Make sure you look throught that and the 3 other pages, the links, images, and tables. Especially the tables. o.o...
  2. When you press enter, while you're typing up the page or something, in this little "draft window" (I call it that o-o) it basically does nothing. Like, the wiki totally ignores it. I think pressing enter twice gives the same effect as if you just pressed it once, and it "worked", yea it does. You can either do that (to make the draft version of the page look a lot longer than it has to) or type "<br>" or "<br />". I'm not really sure what the difference is, but I'm quite sure the "br" is an abbreviation for "break", so.....yea. Keep that in mind. o-o
  3. Once you start working with tables/fonts (or anything else that involves color) you'll realize it goes by the hexadecimal system (base-16). Sorry kids, but I study base-6 for fun, not base-16. I don't even know how the letters work lol. Anywho, back to the point. I don't know if there's like an online thing that "translates colors into hexadecimal form", but there probably is. I personally use Paint.NET cuz I'm too lazy to look it up or something, like, under the red, green, and blue values, there would be the hexadecimal number, normally composed of letters and numbers (such as 3366FF, which is like ███. I love that shade of blue :3) Most art programs, even Microsoft Paint, I think, measures color in red, green, blue (RGB) values, so you can learn to translate those values (they go from 0-255) into hexadecimal if you want... Or (yes, lazyways come last) you can just type something like "<font color="red">" and the font will be red. I haven't really tested it out, but you can go to Wikipedia and search up something like "Category:Shades of ____", and then it will show the various shades of whatever color you pick. I believe you can only search the 6 primary/secondary colors, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, maybe black/gray/grey, I don't know. I'm going to guess that if you typed in one of those shades it would work. Like.. "<font color="dodgerblue">" o-o... Oh. You have to squish the words that are more than one word, like "Dodger Blue", into one word for it to work. If you don't, it turns out like some other fail deranged color..thing. In the case of "dodger blue", it would turn a neon pale yellow...lol....
    For tables, there's like.. 4 different colors you can make it, assuming you keep the font all one color. There's the color of the "title" boxes, the color of the "background", the color of the "content" boxes, and then the color of the font. I don't think you can choose a color for the border, or maybe it's something like border = background. I don't know.


Apologies for ranting on an on about colors, but....idk.
Actually, that's about as much as I can say about how to get started. Lol. As you progress, you might end up making custom templates and stuff (sadly I can't really provide any help on that, seeing as I still have a lot to learn about the Deadeiry project. Wait, lol, go there for help on templates too). Oh yea, last bit: here are some simple color "codes" you might, emphasis on might, want to keep in mind.

I'm going to guess that 00 in base-16 is 0 in base-10 (the normal numbers we use: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, etc.), and that FF in base-16 is 255 in base-10. I could be wrong though o-o TESTING~!...this could get a lot more complicated.

Notes to self/whoever reads this

Stalker ._.

  • 00 is... 0, FF is 255 ("all"), and AA (170) was mistaken for the "middle" value D:, 80 is the actual middle value (well, 7F is 127, 80 is 128, and 255 divided by 2 is 127.5..... Ima round uplol.)
  • Codes work in order. Like... it can only work like <a><b><c> something </c></b></a>, not something like: <a><b><c> something </b></a></c>.For the sake of this notation, lets pretend "<b>" doesn't mean anything. In reality, its for bolding stuff: <b>This would be bold</b>.
  • The code for all the headings of my user page:

  • It's just about useless to make a link a certain color, because before you click on it, it'll appear ___ (lmao, gotta love fill in the blanks), but after you've clicked on it (been to the page before) it just appears that purplish color... I think. Iunno why my rainbowsiggy was an exception. OH. I think if its like "<fontcolor>[[link]]</font>" instead of like.. "[[link|<fontcolor>something</font>]]". Iunno. Edit: Yup. I was right. Keep the color inside the link, and all will be well. :D
  • When you click the uh.. "Show new changes starting from (...time & date)", it opens up a new link, with a "Special:RecentChanges&from=20091229190323" at the end. Deciphered:20091229190323... Or:Year, Month, Day, Hours (GMT), Minutes, Seconds?. (In this case it was December 29th, 2009, 15:03 (GMT), and I guess 23 seconds?)
  • Ivory sword added 333 int at some form of unhappy for the male bow.....?
