Re: Received Notice

Thank you for letting me know. I thought I was gonna be banned XD --ZRoc 16:51, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Re: Q13 in Q&A

Where and what the heck is Wiki Updates? I looked but I couldn't find anything, then again I may just be getting dumber (someone had to point out to me that 4x4 is 16 squares of inventory space, not the 2x2 I should have used) XD --ZRoc 08:29, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Re: Found a Template

Will have a look into it a bit later, see what I can do (if anything lol). --ZRoc 22:38, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

No problem and have deleted template from my user page so I dont forget not to use it XD --ZRoc 23:02, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Re: Categories Location

Woops. Sorry, I thought it was easier to find at the top (especially for long pages). Will diligently move them to the bottom of pages I edit from now on XD
--ZRoc 01:30, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Fishing Items

May I change the Fishing Items page to Fished Items (or Fishing Locations and Catches if you dont like Fished Items) because I've made a category called Fishing Items for all items associated with fishing (rods, bait tins, as well as the page in question). It looks weird with the page Fishing Items listed there. I'm asking here because you created the page's title and I don't want to be a pain in the you know where. --ZRoc 21:27, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Thank you --ZRoc 21:33, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Limitations Section

In the Limitations Section would it be worth including "Cannot be upgraded." for hats, shoes, etc? Instead of having an empty Upgrade section. Similarly for Armor, can the sentences about restrictions on accessories be moved to the Limitations Section (something like "Only 1 accessory can be worn." for Light and "No accessories can be worn." for Heavy)? --ZRoc 05:57, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry for giving you more work since you deleted all those "Upgrades' sections. I'll change whatever I come across. Also, in regard to the sections "Fishing Locations", "Drop Locations" and "Store Locations", should they be left out (or deleted) if there is no information for the section? Whether or not those sections are to be removed, I don't think that a lack of information should be added to the "Limitations" section. Things like "Cannot be fished at this time" is usually due to an item not being fished up at this point in time rather than an actual property of an item. If an item specifically states it can't be fished, dropped by a monster or bought from an NPC then I would add that to the "Limitations" section. --ZRoc 20:09, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I like the JP wiki more and more. I think what your doing makes sense. If there is no information in said sections do I delete them or wait till you check for that item on the JP wiki? --ZRoc 20:23, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Nexon Events

Since you so nicely restructured the Nexon events I would like your opinion on the following. Some events are repeated and may do so again in future. They may be exactly the same or at least similar enough that they cannot be seperated by name. In this case it may be easier to seperate them by date as shown in these examples.
If you like this then can I create the pages and remove the Premium/Ordinary Chests section from the Gachapon page, the information does not seem relevant to gachapons. Also can I either remove the Treasure Chest Event section from the Miscellaneous Events (Old) page or remove the information and add links to these pages. --ZRoc 08:43, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

I've removed the Treasure Chest Event information from the Gachapon and Miscellaneous Events (Old) pages. Info about repeat events and what I changed have been added to the Nexon Events (Old) talk page. The repeat event examples on my test page have been deleted to make some room. Also, the Nexon Events page looks better now XD --ZRoc 17:32, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

"Obtained From" section

I like the idea for the Event Equipment items, where there is an "Obtained From" section for the event(s) they came from. I think this could be expanded and used elsewhere. Use the "Obtained From" section to hold, as sub-sections, the "Monster Drop", "Fishing Locations", "Store Locations", "Crafting Requirements" and any other section containing info on where or how to obtain an item. Then anyone looking at the page can go straight to this section as it keeps together the related info about where to obtain an item. Of course, any unneccesary sub-sections are deleted as usual. This would only apply to equipment and non-equipped items, as weapons already do this in the their "Base Stat and Information" section's table. Also, perhapes use something like "Event Reward" for the present "Obtained From" section and add it to the new section. If you have already thought of this or don't like it then just ignore me XD --ZRoc 06:49, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Magic Powders

Please look at the individual pages and list for magic powders. I changed the "Dropped By" to "Obtained From" in the Base Stats and Information section's table so it contains all the ways to obtain an item and "Sales At" will only contain NPC shop or Item Shop info (their info is left aligned as that seems to work better). I've similarly changed the "Who/How" column in the list to "Obtained From" (this is also left aligned). I combined the price and NPCs selling the item into just one column (rather than having the NPCs listed in "Obtained From" and listing their names in "Cost", if there were price differences for an item. If its not a good idea it can always be changed to what is already being used. And yes I did want "Powders" not "Powder" for the list (I explained my reasons to Kevin) XD --ZRoc 21:00, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

About Future Content

For the seperate future item categories, would it be okay to create a "Category:Future Items" in "Category:Items" and have all the individual future item categories contained in this new category? --ZRoc 13:11, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Thank you. I also found Tioz Greave listed on the Design Contest page but could not find any other info in the wiki. I'd like to make a page for them but I'm not sure if they are implemented in NA (checked House Shop Ad boards and personal shops on the Tarlach and Mari servers but didn't find any)? --ZRoc 17:10, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Removing non-numerical characters from price columns

I'd be willing to edit the Tailoring and Blacksmithing Lists' templates and remove non-numerical characters from the manuals' prices but don't they contain other stuff besides 'g'. e,g., 'Bank Transaction Fee' and the name of NPC's that sell the manuals? Also, what about the produced item itself, if its also sold by an NPC isn't that price also included in the templates? I really should have looked at the templates first XD --ZRoc 07:03, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

I haven't added commas but that can be done later if its desired. Note that when a manual cannot be bought from an NPC then the manual cost entry must be left blank (I deleted all the 'N/A' entries as well) --ZRoc 08:35, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Did the Blacksmithing list as well. Also, deleted '?' along with 'N/A'. --ZRoc 09:07, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Your welcome. BTW you may want to place a warning above lists stating that only numbers should be added to columns that need to be sorted numerically, i.e., digits, points, commas, spaces, "+", "-", possibly followed by "e" or "E" and a string consisting of "+", "-", digits should only be used (according to Mediawki Meta-Wiki). If the value is unknown then it should be left blank (will be sorted as zero) and things like 'N/A', '?' or '-' should not be used. Note that it wont differentiate between a blank value and a zero so these values will be sorted together but randomly, i.e, you wont get blank, blank, blank, zero, zero, zero (unless your lucky), rather it will be something like blank, zero, zero, blank, zero, blank (or some other random combination of blanks and zeros). --ZRoc 05:08, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't know if the following is worth using but it may be of some help. Some columns where there is no point to sorting them (e.g., those containing images only or where to obtain an item) can be made unsortable, e.g.,
! style="background-color: #e7f3e8;" width="230pt" class="unsortable"| Monster Location (I used it in the Hunting Quests page lists)
Also, there may be columns you dont want sorted for a specific reason. --ZRoc 05:43, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Sorting

Too see the weird and wonderful things you can do to numbers and still have them only sorted numerically look at the "Cost" column in the table displayed here. Also, a couple of possible ways to display a sortable table's column headings and associated sort arrows can be seen here, note that these were only something I was playing with and I thought they looked a bit better (I could be wrong).

P.S. I love the blatant admittion to favoritism in the selection of wiki adminstrators. Nepotism (well in this case for friends rather than family) is alive and well in the great social and democratic experiment called the internet LOL. I really don't care how you choose but that was a heck of an honest reply! --ZRoc 13:41, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Bald Wig

I've added a page for the Bald Wig that Price sells but I dont know which list to add it to. It has Def = 2, Prot = 1 and cannot be repaired which suggests it belongs to the Hats (Limited) List but its always available from Price, so it's not a limited item. --ZRoc 17:27, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Your an admin, you should care lol. Alright, I'll just add it to the Hats list cause it sure don't look like a helmet. I'm sure if anybody doesn't like it they'll tell me XD --ZRoc (talk) 01:03, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Selina Open Leather Jacket

I left a message in the Selina Open Leather Jacket talk page stating I was going to delete the upgrades section and when I went to do it, it was gone. Thought I'd gone nuts lol --ZRoc (Talk) 15:58, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: Combo Effects

The template is a nice idea but it doesn't really work in this case (note: that's only my opinion lol);

  • Placing a small mention in the description section is a good idea, as not many equipment items have combo effects and it lets someone viewing the page realise that the item has those effects (rather than hunting for the section at the bottom of the page). I would suggest adding that there is a detailed section, specifically for that item, further down the page.
  • Placing that info in the Equipment Combination Effects section ends up hiding it and only repeats what is already there.
  • Is using a template necessary for the few items that, at present, have combo effects or will there be that many coming out in the future?
  • If the template is used (at the moment I dont think it should be) and placed in the Equipment Combination Effects section then this statement "See Equipment Combination Effects for more information." is no longer necessary as the section title already provides an obvious link. Also, "unlock the bonus" is very vague as there are many bonuses in the game. Same applies to the template's title which should be something more specific, e.g., Template:Equipment Combination Effects.

--ZRoc (Talk) 02:29, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: Magic Powders

Put <br /> tag after the prices, thank you for the suggestion and your comments :) Would it be ok to do this for other lists or just leave it for now? No-one else seems to have taken any notice lol
As for a Miscellaneous Weapons category, I really wanted a category that indicated these items were not meant as weapons. Initially, I thought all these items were ineffective weapons (you got the warning messages and their weapon stats were nearly non-existant). This grouped them together nicely and the category name indicated they were not real weapons. However, some tools (Blacksmith Hammer and Pickaxe) and now some instruments (Cymbals, Snare Drums and Bass Drum) do not give the warning messages and their weapon stats are close to or even better than weak weapons. However, they are classed as "very slow hit" while the weak weapons are either faster and/or have higher weapon stats. Some tools and instruments that are ineffective weapons, as well as the Blacksmith Hammer and Pickaxe, can have their weapon stats upgraded. Again, compared to weapons, these weapon stat upgrades are either less effective and/or remove a lot more durability. All up, anything not in a weapons category really is not worth using as (or upgrading to) an effective weapon, as most weapons will be superior (but there is always someone that will want something different or unique). A Miscellaneous Weapons category should be used for weapons that dont have a category, rather than items that equip on the right hand and are meant for something other than fighting. Except for the Pet Instructor Stick (which is in the Miscellaneous Items and Ineffective Weapons categories) all other items not belonging in a weapons category but equip on the right hand have their own categories (Tools, Instruments, Right Hand Ornaments, Right Hand Toys, Signs, Taming Canes and Magic Powders). That's why I stopped using the Inappropriate Weapons category after talking to Random but also did not make a Miscellaneous Weapons category (I just added info to the Ineffective Weapons category and removed those items that were not ineffective weapons in their base item grade version). For items that equip on the right hand but dont belong in a weapons category and dont have their own category then I think Miscellaneous Items is the best place to put them (and Ineffective Weapons if they are ineffective weapons).
Sorry for all the hot air =3 --ZRoc (Talk) 07:48, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Signatures and text not in English

I know I'm not an admin and dont want to step on anyone's toes but you may wish to include something in the user policy about restricting the use of foreign text. I've seen some nasty abuse on other forums and wikis going mostly unseen because someone has used a language that is not in the wiki's native language. This includes signatures and blocks of text on users' pages in wikis. I dont know if its the answer but some have restricted their forum or wiki to using the language of the subject they are made for (if this applies) or the country they are based in. I live in Australia and have to remember to use US English rather than our version of English (color instead of colour, etc) and I will look up a dictionary if I'm not sure. This is not hard to do, even if English is someone's second language, so I'm not sure why anyone needs to use non-English text in a NA Mabinogi wiki, when they know almost no-one else will be expected to understand it. If they dont understand English then there is no point in contributing as all translation software will still produce gibberish somewhere. --ZRoc (Talk) 14:25, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

I hope nobody ever does something offensive in any fashion on this wiki but I won't hold my breath XD. The two major accepted forms of English are called British (or Queen's) English and US (or American) English. Although the British would like their Queen's English to be considered the standard, however both US and (modern) British English are considered equal variants of the same language, they both differ hugely from the old British English that was used in Shakespear's time or even just 100 years ago. Also British and US English are spoken by a (roughly) similar number of people, British English is spoken in more countries but the fewer countries using US English tend to have very large populations. Note, Australian English is based on British English but we've developed our own dialect, unique words and colorful expressions, (just to annoy the British, I think lol). --ZRoc (Talk) 11:31, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Wasn't Aussieland originally a penal colony? As such, I would imagine why they'd wanna annoy the Brits.  ;) Though I do hear that there are smaller enclaves in Australia which still use Queen's English and Received Pronunciation.
But back to the topic at hand, I actually incorporated what you'd said here to my rules concerning my talk page, though I'm a bit looser on whether to use Queen's English vs. Merkin' English. As long as I can make sense of what you're saying, that's all that counts to me. However, I tend to prefer standard English (either Queen's or American) as opposed to language rife with slang I'm not going to understand or stupid memes which should be taken somewhere quiet-like and shot dead execution style. --Irjustman 02:22, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

More Random Templates

Random has created the following templates and told me to use them on my talk page;

these are going to cause the same problems with entering info that his part-time job templates presented and restrict how people use them. However, I'll wait for your opinion before I dump on them (would have been nice if he asked in Q&A first). --ZRoc (Talk) 03:52, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Woops, he said he created all of them but maybe he hasn't finished some yet lol --ZRoc (Talk) 03:57, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

P.S. have you seen his "Welcome to the Mabinogi World Wiki American Wiki" intro he has posted on various users talk pages o.O --ZRoc (Talk) 04:14, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Shadow Mission

Are the rewards only experience and gold? The hidden text boxes seem to be overkill if that's all there is, on the other hand if there are going to be various items given as rewards then I can see why you are using them. --ZRoc (Talk) 13:52, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

Bait Tins and Magic Powders

I think I created these categories but there are actual items using the same name. I was wondering if it would be less confusing if I renamed the categories "Fishing Baits" and "Enchanting Powders". Note that no item uses just "Taming Bait" as its name, so that category should be OK as it is. --ZRoc (Talk) 15:42, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

Done, I used "Enchant Powders" instead of "Enchanting Powders", was half asleep when I was thinking about the names lol. Also, I have my own message archive for your talk page o.O I'm really sorry I leave so many messages (will try to cut down in future) =3 --ZRoc (Talk) 21:57, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh no, you're encouraging me... must.... stop..... typing...... nope, can't do it. Thank you, it was kind of you to say that XD --ZRoc (Talk) 01:41, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Fossils

The Fossil Restoration page states "Fossils may be obtained from mining in the Sulfur Pits in Zardine" but I've just had one dropped by a Capybara I killed, just outside of the Calida Exploration Camp. I can't find anything mentioned elsewhere, on the wiki, about where to find Fossils, so should this be added somewhere or should it be confirmed first? --ZRoc (Talk) 06:31, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Qaccy suggested checking the linked guide on the Fossil Restoration page but that didn't appear to mention anything. --ZRoc (Talk) 07:21, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Also, got fossils to drop while mining for Flint which can only be done while its raining, so those burning rocks near the Raspa Volcano cool down. Appears to be as slow as, or less than, the fossil drop rate while sulphur mining. --ZRoc (Talk) 06:51, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Fomorians

Are they actually refered to as Fomorians anywhere in the game or only as Fomors, I cant remember if the term is used but except for the Category created by Random the wiki does not use it (including in-game books). The reason I'm asking is that if Fomor is their race name then Fomorian is as incorrect as using Humanians for Humans. --ZRoc (Talk) 05:41, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Note that, Cichol is a god, not a Fomor and Trion is listed as a Humaniod Female Monster although she is never fought (at least not yet) so she is merely an NPC like the Paladin trainees. Also, some of the listed "Fomorians" are human. If "Fomorians" are going to be in the Race category then it should strictly be race based no matter what allegiance an NPC has. Otherwise Morrighan and Nao are Human, Cichol does become a Fomor, any Human NPC allied to another race becomes that race (e,g, Mores would be a Fomor, Meriel would be a Giant), etc. Perhapes have a category called NPC Allegiances, with those NPCs having no known allegiance as Neutral (if there are any) and the rest as Fomor, God, Human, Giant, Elf, Dragon, etc. Unless it is specifically stated otherwise in-game, if an NPC belongs to a certain race then their allegiance is automatically for that race. You can list an NPC in an allegiance without explaining why, so that no spoiler is created (rather than having Trion and Morgant listed as Humans in the Race category). By the way NPC Animals is not a race. No animal is considered a race by an intelligent species, although that's actually racism (speciesism?) against animals lol. If they need to be in a race then a category should be created called Animals which includes the sub-categories Animals (NPC), Pets and Animals (Monster), which means the existing Animals category needs to be changed to Animals (Monster). Similarly Dragons as a race should have sub-categories for Dragons (NPC) and Dragons (Monster). Fomors would need Fomors (NPC) and Fomors (Monster), where Fomors (Monster) would include Succubus, Siren, Incubus, Black Wizard, etc (any monster that is an actual Fomor and not one controlled by Fomors). How to determine that for some Monsters may be difficult and therefore they should be left out of the Fomor race category until direct proof is provided in-game. --ZRoc (Talk) 07:00, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Perhapes Factions would be better than NPC Allegiances lol --ZRoc (Talk) 11:35, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Browser?

I couldn't figure out how you saw the collapsible tables as unsquished (when you had the top title at a fixed width) because when I used Firefox and later with IE they were squished. Then I noticed that IE was asking me to click on a "Compatibility View" button, doing so unsquished the tables and they looked as you described. So I searched the help site for Firefox to see if it had a similar feature. Not gonna happen, apparently Firefox is a web standards-compliant browser which appears to mean that if your web site doesn't use web compliant coding then Firefox wont fix the problem. IE's "Compatibility View" explanation says that websites meant for older browsers will look better if you use this feature. Apparently, Mabinogi World Wiki is using code meant for older browsers, is not using compliant code or both. My naive faith in Firefox has been shattered, I am so depressed T.T *must find cookies to munch* --ZRoc (Talk) 06:39, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Slightly happier but no solution to the problem, IE in compatibility view unsquishes the above mentioned tables but any table without a fixed width and having more than one word in its top title has those words on at least two lines instead of 1. Weapon Grades in fact was even worse, it had [show] by itself and to the right, then Weapon below it but centred and Grades below that but centered. Uncollapsing the table put all of it on one line again but collapsing it resulted in the multi-line top title. Looks like both browsers have a problem with the code on Mabinogi World Wiki. --ZRoc (Talk) 06:51, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

ToC and Image Gallery

Have a look at this example. I've left a message on the wiki Q&A and Sozen Cratos Focker's talk page as well. --ZRoc (Talk) 11:52, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Re: Old and Misc. Events

Some events will not be repeated and did not give in-game items as rewards, so keeping them would be for the archiving of events rather than info helpful to playing Mabinogi in the present. If that is something that is wanted then that's fine but if it is not then delete those that do not assist game play in the present. I don't know if the archiving of events, or anything that has had a limited existence in-game, is something this wiki was intended to do but I personally don't have a problem with doing that.

Perhapes events that do not occur in-game should be listed in a seperate category, something like "External Events" or "Real Life Events" (or something with a better name =P). That is, if you want to keep them but these events really involved doing something outside the game, usually on Nexon's website. If they gave an in-game item as a reward then you might want a reference as to where that item could have come from (especially if the item was only obtained from that event). Events occuring outside of the game were:

  • "7-11 Slurpee Event" - gave an in-game item, if that item is recorded on the wiki then the event may be needed as a referencefor where the item was obtained.
  • "Holiday Double-Cash Giveaway", "Mabinogi Haiku event" and "Win a Succubus Figurine event" - even the prizes were external to the game. I beleive Nexon cash prizes can be used on other Nexon games and are not actual in-game items but rather are used to buy a variety of in-game items.
  • "Wishlist to GMs" - although the in-game mail system was used this really didn't involve any gameplay and the prizes could have been anything, not really any way to know what was won unless they posted it on their website. Was it cancelled? If so then no event really occurred.

Just delete "Nao's Santa Suit" as it is not an event but a limited time item, wearable only by Nao and is already on her NPC page. Possibly add the time it was available for, on the table on Nao's page that lists the items she can wear.

"Winter Premium Card" (under "Premium Shop Limited Cards") are the same thing as "Nao's Santa Suit", i.e., not an event and should be deleted. Perhapes on the Character page have a section for "Limited Premium Cards" listing the different card names and periods available. Link to that Character page section from the pages for clothes that come with a limited character card when stating where the clothes were obtained.

"GM's Housing Sale" was held in-game but really wasn't a typical event, did not actually give a specific reward and is unlikely to be held again, unless the GMs intend to take away control of the residential houses from the guilds that own the castles. Was it cancelled? Did the GMs actually do anything while the event was operating? Not sure what should be done with this, so for now I would just add it to "Category:Nexon Events (Old)" for archiving.

"New Year's Fireworks", possibly will be repeated but not really a typical event, it was just entertainment celebrating the new year. Again, not sure what should be done with this, so for now I would just add it to "Category:Nexon Events (Old)" for archiving.

"Mainline Story Quest Event", "Everyone Was Once a Beginner", "Create an Elf or Giant", "Level Up" and "Desert Dragon Summon Event" were in-game and gave rewards that were usable in-game. In some of these the rewards were items such as character cards, pet cards and gachapons but these are listed on the wiki and the events were a possible source for obtaining them. I would add it to "Category:Nexon Events (Old)".

"Fishing Contest Event" was the second fishing event (I think), was an in-game event and participating was similar to the other fishing events. The prizes of Nexon cash were different from other fishing events but I would still add it to "Category:Nexon (Old)".

--ZRoc (Talk) 18:37, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Category:Nexon Events looks good (nice work =3), the names of the events do look long but I don't think that's going to cause a real problem. Eventually there may be too many events, especially the way Nexon is dishing them out at the moment. However, we can do what Wikipedia does, i.e., create alphabetical sub-categories and place event pages in those (if and when it becomes necessary). --ZRoc (Talk) 13:29, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Umm sorry, I cant think in small sentences, gotta add everything. Sorry again --ZRoc (Talk) 14:43, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Really?? O.o Thank you =3 Then, what I said about you on my user page is even more true, Saint Angevon has a nice ring to it XD --ZRoc (Talk) 20:13, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Repairing

Since you created the Repairing page, I'm asking you if this is a good or bad idea =3 I want to change the Repair Lists sub-sections names to something more consistent and accurate. Also, I want to create redirect pages for the present sub-section names so that all the Repair Costs section links on item pages dont have to be changed. The sub-section name changes I would like to make are;

  • "Tailors to "Tailor Repairs"
  • "Blacksmiths" to "Blacksmith Repairs"
  • "Magic Teachers & Healers" to "Wand Repairs"
  • "General Items" to "Miscellaneous Repairs"
  • "Magical Items" to "Magical Equipment Repairs"
  • "Accessories" to "Accessory Repairs"
  • "Alchemists" to "Cylinder Repairs"
  • "Brionac" to "Brionac Repairs"

Also, I was thinking of adding hidden text boxes listing what items were repaired by each type of repair. Not a full list but just links to categories or list tables (e.g. the Glasses List page, as they dont have a category) and the only items listed individually would be any exceptions for a type of repair. Exceptions would be items that belong to a category that is mostly repaired using one type of repair but these exceptions are actually repaired by another type of repair. Therefore, exceptions would be listed as such for the type of repair that does not repair them and are also listed for the type of repair that does repair them. For example, General Items/Miscellaneous Items would be something like;

while Blacksmiths/Blacksmith Repairs would be

Exceptions would not include items that cannot be repaired at all. There is no way of knowing for certain in which type of repair every one of these irrepairable items would belong. That is, some may be obvious but others would not. Perhapes a table on another page could list these, something like Irrepairable Equipped Items and link to it from the Repairing page. --ZRoc (Talk) 07:02, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Oops, I see what you mean about the redirects, Well the weapons are easy as the repairing page link is in the weaponbox template. Just need to edit Template:Weaponbox(Cylinder), Template:Weaponbox(melee), Template:Weaponbox(tool), Template:Weaponbox(instrument) and Template:Weaponbox(wand). Note that, a few tools are repaired by General Items and not repaired just by Blacksmiths which the Template:Weaponbox(tool) links to. Another, reason to remove the repair section from the weaponbox templates lol.
As for equipment items, you are correct, I guess changing the link in the Repair Costs section is required for each item that can be repaired. I can be really dumb sometimes T.T It's still something I'm prepared to do, besides the existing links will still go to the Repairing page, just not the desired section until the link is updated, which isn't a major catastrophe. Anyway, I'll make an example page, then you can look at it and tell me it stinks (joking) XD --ZRoc (Talk) 14:56, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
When you have the chance, please look at User:ZRoc/Example Page and let me know what you think =3 --ZRoc (Talk) 23:12, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Thank you XD. Should I replace the existing page or ask on the Q&A page first? --ZRoc (Talk) 23:28, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Fluted Plate Gauntlet

These gloves are in Category:Gloves but there is no info on how to obtain them on the Fluted Plate Gauntlet page. The only pages that link to the Fluted Plate Gauntlet page is Aranwen's page and Tyron's page, where its only listed as equipment that each of these NPCs wears. Is this NPC only equipment or something not yet implemented on the NA server? If you don't actually know, I was hoping you could check on the JP wiki (whenever you have time), please? =3 --ZRoc (Talk) 15:37, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
