Water Cannon.png
A skill that fires a powerful stream of water from the Cylinder using Water Crystals. The high-speed blast deals significant damage and knocks down nearby opponents. Opponents further away will only take minor damage and won't be knocked down. You can load up to 5 crystals at a time, which can be fired all at once if necessary. Damage increases with more MP. (Material: 1 Water Crystal)

Details

  • Shoots compressed water out of the user's Cylinder to deal damage.
  • Water Cannon's damage is multiplied by the number of charges, similar to Firebolt. At 5 charges, it does 6.5x its base damage.
  • This skill can be Auto Charged.
  • Water Cannon will do between 60% and 120% of its maximum damage depending on number charges and how far the user is from the target despite the listed damage range.
  • The enemy will be pushed back when hit by this skill at close range even if they are using the Defense skill.
    • This distance will increase with rank and number of charges.
    • Defense will still block Water Cannon when used at long range, however.
    • Monsters with Advanced Heavy Stander are not pushed back, however.
  • Water Cannon completely ignores the buff from the Defense skill.
  • Water Cannon's damage may be increased by the skill's rank, the Cylinder used (Water Cylinder or Tidal Wave Cylinder), Alchemy Mastery, Rain Casting, Water Alchemy, specific enchants, and 30% of your remaining Mana.
  • Requires one Water Crystal per charge.
  • This skill is affected by Mana Deflector, however the close range pushback will not be nullified.
  • Water Cannon is affected by Chain Cylinder.
  • Water Cannon is Ice Elemental and can be shunted by Ice Shield.
  • Evasion can be used to avoid Water Cannon.
  • Prerequisite for learning Flame Burst (rank D) and Frozen Blast (rank A).

Damage Calculation

Normal Damage

  • Normal Damage uses Water Cannon's Base damage as well as damage boosts from enchants and cylinder upgrades.
  • Alchemy Mastery and Water Alchemy do not increase normal damage.
  • The 6.5 modifier at 5 charges applies only to Base Damage, Water Damage Enchants receive only a 5x modifier.

Extra Damage

  • Extra damage added on to the skill after normal damage calculation.
  • Does not bypass enemy defense and protection.
  • Extra Damage is increased by Alchemy Mastery, Water Mastery, "Water Alchemist" title, Spirit Cylinder Elemental Enhancement and Efficiency Reforge.

Additional Damage * (Alchemy Mastery Bonus + Water Alchemy Mastery Bonus) / .15

Final Damage

(Normal Damage + Extra Damage) * Cylinder Modifier * Elemental Modifier * Distance Multiplier * Cloud Bonus


In regards to battlefield overture, the bonus max damage is taken from the skill rank's base damage only. Furthermore, the bonus damage from the battlefield overture is then taken out of the base damage calculation and added in later as a water damage enchant.

Obtaining the Skill

  • Simply pick up or purchase a Water Crystal. Eabha and Heledd sell them in stacks of 50, 100, and 1,000 for 500g, 1,000g, and 10,000g.
