Appearance scrolls for weapons are kind of a mystery to many players because some of them don't go on a lot of things players think they would. They work via tags on various weapons, so weapons individually state which type of appearance scroll they take (and if none, they don't take any). So in the weapon info template, in the info section, a line could be added for weapons stating which type of scroll they take.

(And then the Appearance Scroll page listing scrolls could clarify what they go on and list some examples.)
Of course the info wouldn't be correct until tags were updated and that's a gradual process but it happens over time and we could update them as people ask about them. Perhaps the line for no appearance scroll set could hint that the item may need an update or something.
