Description

Arrow Revolver.png
The Arrow Revolver skill was invented not by archers but wizards. The idea of loading arrows in advance came from charging Icebolts. For beginners, it would be challenging to load even 2 arrows due to the high tension of the bow string. Thus, loading 5 arrows and maintaining that state would seem mysterious and almost magical to beginners.

Details

  • Human-only Skill.
  • While the skill is active, the user must walk.
  • If the user is using a crossbow, Arrow Revolver may be charged while running.
  • Stacks 5 arrow shots, similar to Icebolt. However, upon loading, Arrow Revolver will stack all 5 simultaneously.
    • Aiming is still necessary for each shot.
    • Will cause an enemy to get knocked back after 3 successful shots.
    • After 4 successful shots the enemy will be knocked down.
      • If either shot is critical the enemy will be knocked down again.
  • Uses up one arrow per shot.
  • Arrow Revolver loses one shot upon taking a hit.
  • Arrow Revolver is cancelled when knocked down.
  • It is possible for the aim-meter to go up while the user is stunned.
    • However, the user will not be able to fire the shot until the stun's affect ends.
  • Be aware that, like Icebolt, shooting all 5 arrows relentlessly, with all of them hitting, will result in the monster recovering instantly.
    • This is an exception if the last shot was a critical (then the enemy will "bounce" down)
    • To avoid this, carefully time the shot after each knock down; shoot the arrow just as the monster gets up, and it will get knocked back instead, giving you time to shoot another arrow or reload.
  • In a future Generation, this skill may be toned down as it is too powerful.

Obtaining the Skill

  • First, obtain the "Fire Arrow" title. Then, equip it.
  • Talk to Aranwen at Dunbarton's School about skills. She will give you a 2x2 scroll and a 1x2 book in which to place your pages. Make sure you have enough room in your inventory. (Note: This does not work if the Fireball,Ice Spear, Thunder, or Final Hit quest are in progress and still incomplete.)
  • Collect pages 1-10 and enchant them into the book. The enchant success rate is 100%. This is just like another way to insert the pages into a book.

  • Be warned that the book pages are a relatively rare drop and the pages can go for high prices, depending on which page and server. Generally speaking, page 8 is the hardest and most expensive to obtain.
  • You must enchant the pages in order.
  • If you mistakenly enchant a previous page into the book, your progress will revert back to that page.
  • The pages have a time limit. You must enchant the page into the book before it expires.
  • Talk to Aranwen after you have completed the book. You will then learn the Arrow Revolver skill.
  • Note that you can get rid of the Quest and keep the Book. Getting rid of the Quest Scroll will free up the 2x2 space. You may return to Aranwen to re-obtain the quest.
  • Completed book is untradeable. Infact, there IS no actual book of Arrow Revolver which you can read.

Trivia

  • As long as the skill is loaded, it is possible to continue to shoot arrows even when the bow's durability reaches 0, and the bow can no longer be used. However, once the Arrow Revolver shots are used up, you will no longer be able to shoot any arrows.
  • Mari in the Rabbie G1 RP with the 3 Warriors had a Prototype version of Arrow Revolver. It could only shoot one arrow even with the skill fully loaded. It needs to be manaully loaded like Icebolt. However other players can just load 5 instantly.
