Combat Mastery

Description

Combat Mastery skill is an essential skill for more effective engagement in close-quarter combat. This skill is based on discipline of the body rather than knowledge. With high Combat Mastery skill, you deliver more powerful attacks than someone who is not using this skill. While this skill does not have fancy, conspicuous effects like other skills, it has an automatic, general effect in close-quarter combat.

Details

  • Raising this skill will increase base melee damage and maximum HP as well as Strength and a bit of Dexterity. It also has the effect of raising balance while using melee combat.
  • Bonus for balance is not added until G7.
  • Combat Mastery aids the power of attacks, and is supported by many skills.
    • The Sharp Mind skill detects a skill the monster may be using.
    • The Smash attack will deal more damage than a normal attack.
    • The Defense Skill may block and reduce damage.
    • The Critical Hit skill may inflict more damage by striking the target's weak point. It will activate randomly, depending on your Will, Luck, and Monster's Protection.
    • The Counterattack Skill will neglect damage taken and return it to the opponent.
    • The Windmill Skill is an attack that protects the user from all sides at an expense of 10% HP.
    • Last but not least, the Final Hit attack will allow the user to strike the target infinently, provided the use is Dual Wielding.
  • It can also help boost the Attack Power of a Weapon.
  • Combat Mastery does not affect Ranged or Magic. It only build's Melee Power.
  • There are many many ways of Melee Combat.
  • Beware that in Face-to-Face combat where both you and the enemy are charging at each other to normal attack, there is a chance you will succeed and not get hit, a chance you will both take damage, and a chance you will take the damage but the opponent will not.
    • The chance of whether or not you get the first hit is affected by your latency
    • Not recommended to charge a enemy if avoidable, as it is always very risky
    • If you are Smashing however, you will always lose.
