Description

Focused Fist.png Stage 1 chain skill. Focuses your strength into your fist and releases it to hit the enemy. A longer charge time will increase the damage and range. Be careful not to miss your target.

Details

A player with fully charged Focused Fist.
The visual range of Focused Fist's "Strike Zone," which is 700.
  • Requires Knuckles to use.
  • Stage 1 Chain that attacks with a charged fist.
  • The longer the charge, the more damage it deals and the more distance it gains.
    • When fully charged, Focused Fist deals 1.75x its base damage and gains 150 additional distance.
      • The distance is traveled nearly instantly.
    • Visually, the strike distance does not change according to the rank of Focused Fist, and the user will only hit the target according to their current rank's reach.
    • If the distance bypasses the target, the attack will still stop in front of the enemy and strike.
    • The player can cancel the charging phase of the attack by manually canceling the skill or by loading another skill.
  • Can be used without the presence of an enemy.
  • Can only be chained if the attack hits the opponent.
  • Stamina usage occurs upon usage of the skill rather than the charging phase.
  • Skill enters cooldown upon activation, whether it manages to hit or not.
  • Charging requires the player to hold down the skill key, then release to attack. Moving the mouse aims the skill.
    • The slope and height of the terrain affects the skill's aim.
  • Focused Fist only hits one target. If there are a group of enemies, this attack will hit the one closest to the user.
  • Can attack closed Mimics and resting Sulfur Golems.
  • Ignores Protection for calculating Critical Hit Chance.
  • Can be Defended and Counterattacked, as well as Windmill-Countered.
    • If the attack is blocked by one of the above skills, Stage 2 chains will not be activated.
  • Will always successfully intercept the enemy's Normal Attack or Smash, provided the user has little or no latency.
  • The stun caused by this skill is much longer than that caused by basic attacks.
  • Does not attack Barrier Spikes.
  • Can be used to bypass Assault Slash if timed correctly.

Skill Issues

  • This skill may cause displacement lag for the user, as well as anyone around the user.
    • In addition, it may seem like the user pierced through many enemies or they do not move at all from their current position.
  • This skill may abruptly stop right in front of the target without hitting it, even if within reach.
