General Info

  • Humans are the starting race in Mabinogi.
  • Human players enter Erinn through what is called the Soul Stream and are known as Milletians. Nao guides the souls of these humans to Erinn to help protect it. The humans native to Erinn (such as NPCs), are known as Tuatha de Danaan. See Tarlach's Record for more information.

Details

  • Humans are balanced and can excel at range, magic, and melee.
  • Humans run at a "normal" speed which is slower than both Elves and Giants. Many monsters can outrun a human.
  • Humans, upon implementation of Elves and Giants, can ally themselves with either race. As a result, they become the enemies with the other race.
  • Humans, depending on who you choose to forge an alliance with, will be able to buy items at a discount at that town(Vales for Giant allied-humans or Filia for Elf allied-humans). The discounts are how much they would be on Wednesday(Alban Heruin).
    • Simply entering the 'enemy' race's town will cause the town's NPC guards to attack the player. These guards are invincible and incredibly strong.
    • A human allied with giants can ride on giant player-characters who are in the party.
  • Humans possess a few unique skills, such as Final Hit and Arrow Revolver.
    • Final Hit allows a continuous attack for a short period of time provided the player is Dual-Wielding.
    • Arrow Revolver allows the player to prepare 5 arrows instead of a single shot for faster ranged attacks.
  • Humans possess two transformation skills, Paladin and Dark Knight. Paladin draws upon the Spirit of Order, attained from completing the Generation 2 storyline quests. Dark Knight draws upon the Soul of Chaos, which is obtained by completing the "The Path of the Dark Knight" quest available after completion of Generation 3.
  • Humans may wear clothing, light armor, and heavy armor, but nothing unique to elves or giants.
  • Only humans can play through the G1~3 storylines.
  • In the future, they will be able to play through the G8~10 Storylines.
  • Only humans can maintain their Rest skill at Novice rank (Elves and Giants must level Rest in beginner questline), so they can take full advantage of the Dire Wolf enchant.

  • Humans may choose a variety of hair, skin and eye colors, making them versatile in appearance. This differs starkly from elves and giants
