Description

Act 9- Invigorating Encore.png A Marionette skill that revives the puppet, granting it life and new drive to attack the enemies. Controlling the Marionette directly will make it deal greater damage. This part of the performance is the touching encore after a long and perilous journey in which puppet and Puppeteer have become one.

Details

Act 9: Invigorating Encore as it appears when active with a Pierrot Marionette.
  • Requires a summoned Pierrot Marionette or Colossus Marionette, a control bar equipped, and a full spirit gauge from the marionette.
  • Upon usage, the marionette produces a shockwave that damages and knocks back all enemies in range, and grants it a sparkling white aura. The spirit gauge will be depleted and the marionette will be given temporary life, granting it an AI of its own. In addition, the marionette will receive a damage boost and, starting at rank 9, a skill loading speed boost.
  • Although in AI mode, Control Marionette will give the player complete control over the marionette without removing the effects of Invigorating Encore.
    • If the marionette is under the influence of both Control Marionette and Invigorating Encore, the damage bonuses of both skills will stack.
  • Movement Speed boosts that affect the player will still carry over to the marionette even if in AI mode.
  • If the player or marionette is Knocked Unconscious or the marionette is unsummoned, Invigorating Encore will be dispelled.
    • Unequipping the control bar will not dispel Invigorating Encore.
  • While in AI mode:
    • If the player moves out of the marionette's visual range, the marionette will attempt to follow the player.
    • The marionette will automatically attempt to attack nearby enemies, using its Normal Attack, Act 1: Inciting Incident, or Act 2: Threshold Cutter.
      • Skills used by the marionette will affect the cooldown of the player's when they take control and attempt to use the skills.
      • Any attacks dealt by the marionette will affect the Proficiency and Durability of the player's equipped weapon.

Spirit Gauge

An empty Spirit Gauge appears to the right of the player.

  • The spirit gauge is a meter that must be filled completely in order to activate Act 9: Invigorating Encore.
  • The gauge appears and disappears upon summoning and unsummoning a Pierrot Marionette or Colossus Marionette, respectively. The gauge only appears when Act 9: Invigorating Encore is learned.
  • Using Act Skills will fill the meter. The table below shows what is affected.

  • The spirit gauge will not charge while Act 9: Invigorating Encore is active, even if the user is manually controlling the marionette.
  • Both marionettes have their own spirit gauges, and is not shared between them.
    • The respective spirit gauge will not be reset if the marionette is unsummoned.
    • The respective spirit gauge will be reset if the player uses Act 9: Invigorating Encore for the summoned marionette, the marionette is Knocked Unconscious, or the player changes channels, disconnects, or logs off.
