Nemeton's whereabouts.

Nemeton is a hidden area, removed from Erinn. It is cave-like and in its center stands a gigantic tower. Its surrounding area seems to bear strange crystals, not unlike hillwen, but purple in color instead.

Inside the tower are numerous rooms.

It is the main area where the events of The Saga: Iria II occur from episode 5 onwards.

The Treasure Hunter, Merlin and the Milletian uncover Nemeton's entrance in Muyu Desert. When making their way through, Nemeton's particularities affect the party, seemingly making them walk upside-down on the ceiling.

The Saga - Iria II Episode 5: Dian Cecht

This part of the current article contains spoilers.

The Treasure Hunter learns through the Grave of Truth, stone stelae recording past events, that Dian created Nemeton in order to avoid Irinid's curse on her people, the Ban clan, and ensure their survival. In order to maintain it, she had to use sacrifices and cloned the Cessair in order to do so. It is later revealed that the tower itself is a giant cannon, meant to pierce Erinn's skies and enact Dian's revenge on the world that slighted her and her clan.

The Saga - Iria II Episode 6: Ritual and Sacrifice

The cannon successfully fires off despite the Milletian's attempts at stopping it, killing the remainder of the Cessair nearby as it launches. Without Dian to sustain it anymore, Nemeton is likely destroyed.

Oddly, when the cannon launches, the platform that Ruairi and the Milletian stand on goes downwards, while the following cutscene shows it moving up. It can be concluded that Nemeton as a whole retains an upside-down position compared to the world of Erinn.

• The Nemeton Wax Wings take you to its entrance, near the Ancient dragon skeleton in Muyu Desert.
• Nemeton itself seems positionned in an upside-down way compared to Erinn.
• Nemeton was the Gaulish name for an ancient, sacred place of worship. Nemeta were thought to be forest groves or temples.
