I could be wrong but it does sound like its something in Fomor language.
Sadly that's the ONLY time its used... I think. Most of the Fomor phrases are used once and are never used again.
Wait, its gone? I thought she still says it when you first confront her about it.
The strategy guide still has it though.
Also I might need an admin's help to upload the updated maps because iirc I wasn't allowed to upload such a large image.
Yes but as is, the map icons don't need to be touch except an area indicating where the black dragon spawns. (Which I assume is where Ifrit spawns.)
Mana tunnel was added near the springs for quite some time now and never saw the updated map until I went to Zardine for G8 a while ago. Courcle now has the region visible in the area of where the bridge to rano can be found.
I meant post G18. The words on the minimaps got recolored, but Courcle and Zardine are exempt.
What are you guys going on about? Commerce_start.mp3 only plays once when you begin Commercing and Commerce_battle.mp3 only plays once when you get ambushed; they don't loop (outlaw homestead is an exception).
- Is it actually called "Beast" and not "Savage Beast"?
- I can't really agree with the Falcon thing, because there's more than one Falcon. I'd rather have a disambiguation.
For Falcon, why? We already do do things like the primary one is the actual page name and the others are a "For" at the top. If anything, we should leave it as is, disambiguation would be worst case scenario imo.
As for Beast, the skill tab is called Beast, the quest chain called it beast, and all the skill titles say Beast, only the rF tittle says Savage Beast.
You're not supposed to do that, that breaks the mediawiki terms of service (or something) because you just discredited the history page Savage Beast used to have, because the logs weren't moved too.
So what, I sit around and stare blankly until it gets dealt with? That's pretty boring...
Unless you're saying you can skip the renewal without having done the old one, there's no reason to say "skipped or done the old one".
That's very odd if you're not receiving the Taill, because I got Taill and then Tara after.
Okay, I won't be able to check it for a while. I'll try to get to it tomorrow. In the mean time you can readd the information and check with more people/test on more alts.
Odd, Taill defense isn't a daily today...
I am wonder what else has anyone else discovered that is different about the Commerce Partner-Pet. It has some interactions that it lacks compared with the Maid and Butler.
-It has no 'Action' button before and after the Disposition has changed -It cannot be given salary
I don't want to put these things unless it was just individual bugs or individual preferences.
For the Production Mastery page, I changed it because as of G16S2, all races receive it from Alissa, the Beginner Quests no longer exist for beginning Elf or Giant characters.
FAWK LOL , My computer was all crappy and all i saw was 1-handed when i edited axe list then im like... wtf i dont see the axe's o_O so i made that only thingy and yeah o_o after u edited or undo i saw it x3 some retarted bug o-O
So I made this. And when I try to include it in my signature with these brackets: {{ }}, as I do with transcluding on my userpage, it's not allowing me to use it in my signature. Why is that? It's super annoying.
<div style="height:40px; width:180px; overflow:auto;float:center; border:3px #009999 double; background: #8AF0F0; padding-left:5px; -moz-border-radius-topleft: 15px;
-moz-border-radius-topright: 15px;
-moz-border-radius-bottomright: 15px;
-moz-border
It automatically puts it like that, and it still didn't appear. o.o

Yaaaay! Thanks, man. c:
...Or not. Whatever, can't edit without screwing it up now? |:<

You do know that removing whitespace makes some things, such as table markup, harder to read.
This that are easy enough to read without whitespaces I remove. I also remove spaces that make a page look strange. What's important is what the reader sees, not the editor.
Unless you dealing with double space which shows up when the page is rendered, the rest of the whitespace remove is pointless and makes things harder to read and edit in the future. I recommend that you leave them be.
I only remove them if there are other edits required. I don't specifically edit a page just to remove them. Most whitespaces are an aesthetic, doesn't make the page harder to edit.
Actually, this edit did make the table much harder to read. And the whitespacing in the headers makes them easier to read as well.
I concur with TheFarix. Removal of whitespaces is unnecessary and creates a hassle for coders. It's important for what both see, not just the reader.
I just made a comparison, there is no difference in headers. And the whitespaces in the table aren't THAT big of a deal, especially in a table like that.
I thought the difference in the headers were what only the reader sees, not the coders?
And in my limited programming education, I'm actually getting marked for how much whitespace I leave in the functions I create. It's true that I personally think whitespace are a waste of, well, space, and I can read them perfectly fine without it, but that isn't always true for other people, so may as well not hinder other editors' productivity any more than necessary.
I'll have to agree with Farix and Kevin on this one.
There is no difference in the reader's visualization of the headers with or without spaces. (Just compared the actually headers and the header navigation box.) But fine, I'll refrain from removing them. (Although I really don't see how they help anyone.)
In a lot of programming languages, white spaces are used by convention. It may seem useless to some, but how is using white space any different from typing code on a new line? You could technically just type all the code on one line with some programming languages, and it would function the same way.
It's not just about what the readers see, but what people see as well when they edit the page. And to me, it just makes things less cluttered and easier to read. Without the whitespace, things looks more like a blob of characters and it's harder to separate the content form the markup.
And what of the white spaces in headers? I honestly don't see how adding spaces in between == makes it any more legible. @Yinato That's not how whitespaces are used here though.
Whitespaces in programming does not matter. Whitespaces are removed when you compile your program, other than in labels and text.
It does improve the readability of the header a bit. So what are your reasons for removing the whitespace? If doesn't affect the output of the page, there is no point in removing the whitespace.
I'm only talking about headers. And no, it should be, if adding whitespaces increases readability. It doesn't effect headers, so why have it in headers? Tables I understand, not talking about that.
Why have it in heads? Because it improves the readability of the headers. But you still haven't given a reason to remove the whitespace other than "just because".
I didn't say just because? It takes up space and does nothing to readability in headers. == Header == is no more or less readable than ==Header== so naturally you use the one that takes up less resources, no?
To me, == Header == is more readable than ==Header==. And what space are you saving? You actually aren't saving any space. There is just no benefit to removing that whitespace.
Ehh I make it a habit to put spaces inbetween every line of coding for readability...I mean I'm not against the removal or anything but neh...It just be easier to edit what's needed if there. I mean I'd rather see spaces to seperate it, rather than trying to find it jumbled somewhere and end up using ctrl+F to find that little segment...personal preference, but not to be taken seriously.
what's the name o -o;;? I'm using it for this map I made. after I get all the marks down, I'll probably soil the map with arrows or pathways...
Also, it seems that Lugh assisted Cichol and Fomor because of humanity's arrogance, but is there enough evidence to actually conclude that's the main reason?
Same area in the Strategy Guide. Through most of the lines, he's chiding humans because of their actions of selfishness and idiocy.
Excuse me, but why did you undo my change on the Will status section? Will is actually 3 will per max damage and 3.5 will per min damage.
You can verify this by doing tests yourself or visiting Mabidata, where Soluna made several tests about the status effect a while ago.
Strength no longer applies to Knuckles at all whatsoever, though, for any skills... even melee ones. It is all Will-based.
Knuckle damage is made up of Knuckle Mastery bonus + Combat Mastery bonus + WILL (3 will = 1 max and 3.5 will = 1 min) - 10 WILL (base).
...Rad you just ninja'd me...but Rad is right. I have 220 str and there's no extra damage from str anymore :c
I thought people knew this is how it was going to work O_o
It's nice we know the exact forumla for how much will it takes to equal 1 dmg though. When I checked the will page the other day it was saying 4 = 1 dmg, but I guess it's really 3 will = 1 max dmg. Pretty cool actually. Has a better damage ratio than str.
Didn't it say on Mabidata that Str also effects melee damage done with knuckles? (Melee, not skills.)
@DANTE20XX It's actually a worse ratio. STR/DEX are 2.5 per 1 damage, while WILL is 3 per 1 damage.
@Pyro No, STR does not affect damage done with knuckles at all... only Combat Mastery does. At one point it was believed to affect it, though, and it probably is included in the formulas as comparison.
It gives strength because it's not a bad extra status to have. Doesn't really matter, though.
If you wish to confirm for yourself, you can if you take 5 minutes out of your time... I did the following:
1. Equip any Knuckles (I used 30 max ones). 2. Look at your character screen damage and (WILL -10, because first 10 of a stat do not apply) naked and without titles (I have 197 max damage and 411 effective will). 3. Deduct the following: 20 max damage from Knuckle Mastery, 10 max damage from Combat Mastery (Elf), 30 max damage from knuckles (the one I used). 4. 137 max damage are left after deducting the above. 411 will is exactly 137 max damage, therefore we can prove that knuckles rely solely on will. 5. Pot poison yourself to 0 STR and smash/windmill bears so you can confirm further.
Easier way of checking I just did, use the Hamlet persona with knuckles and look at your damage, you're right. Sorry for the confusion. =X But still, why would the fighter title give STR?
Why is that a nice bonus if it does nothing?
If you think about it, the fighter skillset as a whole is leaning towards the giant side of things... and a STR boost to newbie and veteran giants who wish to hybrid traditional melee with fighter is a nice addition. Either that, or devcat is being silly but it still doesn't change how the damage is currently calculated.
But if you're a "veteran" giant then you don't get that title because you're over level 100... Besides, it's not like you can't use melee skills with Knuckles. Is it possible STR effects something else for fighters? Like Knuckle Balance or something like that?
It does affect veterans, because many Fighter skill master title are +STR as well. All I am saying is that STR is not bad to have, even if it's unrelated.
I play an elf with barely 130 STR and my fighter skills and melee skills with knuckles hit the damage shown in my character screen. My balance is also 80%... and as far as all the sources go, nothing has ever indicated that STR would affect anything. I think that it's not really necessary to think too deep into the title unless someone ever notices unexpected behavior that could be explained with the influence of STR.
I don't understand what you mean.
Are you referring to using SK three times in rapid succession? I just tested that and it isn't true.
Do you mean through Critical Counterattack, or Critical Smash? I've Critical Counterattacked her plenty of times and she never drops anything.
Also remember that it can't be a Killing Blow. Setting anyone to finish will not remedy this either.
And Charlene is a Siren.
But for some reason you still get title for Critical Counter... I think they might have messed it up?
I got the Siren title on an alt on Charlene through a critical Smash. (Her mask also dropped.) This was the Charlene from the Rush of Love quest chain.
It's above the word Volcano in Raspa Volcano, but below the little Bridge area where balrogs spawn. I don't know how to code it it.
Shouldn't you be using {{Delete|Rename to [[:File:NewName.png]]}} in order to move an image instead of downloading image off the wiki and then re-uploading it under a different name? This would preserve the file history of who originally uploaded the images and would comply with the CC license whereas your method would not comply with the preservation of attribution requirements of the CC license.
The doesn't work with *.PNG to *.png, I am doing that for images that are already *.png, though. (And I really don't see the point in licensing since everything belongs to DevCAT anyways.)
I've did it a few times for renaming the renaming *.PNG to .png using that tag. Also, all contributions to the wiki are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0, which requires all previous contributions be attributed. So you simply can't copy a file from one play and put it somewhere else without attributing the person(s) who originally uploaded the image.
Really? I recall PNG->png not working... Maybe that only applies for uploading? (And I actually am getting these images from the "gui_icon_skill_00x.dds"s, not from the wiki.)
