Description

Alby Dungeon is a subterranean maze located in northern Tir Chonaill. It is the least challenging dungeon in Erinn, and is suitable for beginners. It is recommended that a novice learn the basics of dungeon playing here. However, the advanced level of this dungeon is substantially more difficult, comparably harder than other advanced dungeons such as Ciar Advanced. As such, one must be cautious when entering Alby Advanced.

Because Enchant Scrolls are commonly found in the reward chest, Alby Dungeon is regularly visited by enchanters.

General Info

Drop Item: Alby Battle Arena Coin

Notes

  • To enter the battle arena lobby, drop a single Alby Battle Arena Coin on the Dungeon Altar. These coins can be purchased from Ranald at the Tir Chonaill school. Several monsters drop the battle arena coins as well, such as a few varieties of Imps and Ogres.
    • Dropping more than one coin will destroy the extra.
    • Because one cannot be mounted in the arena, you cannot drop the coin while mounted on a pet.
  • The battle arena's lobby is divided into two rooms. The player may leave by left-clicking the goddess statue in the first room and chosing to exit.
  • Behind Goro is a small altar with crossed swords. Dropping a stack of five arena coins on it will transport the player inside the battle arena.
    • Dropping a stack of more than five coins will destroy the extra.
    • A party cannot enter with only the leader's coins; Each player must drop their own stack.
  • Battles in the arena last for five minutes. The time remaining for a battle is displayed at the top of the screen.
    • The battle starts and ends at the same time for all players.
    • If someone enters after a battle has already begun, the timer will not reset.
  • Upon entering the battle arena, a single star will appear above the player's head. Any player can take a star from another player by killing them, but lose a star when killed.
    • If a player has no stars at the end of the five minute battle interval then they will be ejected into the battle arena's foyer.
    • Players with stars over their heads can willingly choose to leave the battle arena and can use the stars to trade with Goro for battle arena coins.
  • Except for the arena coins used to enter, HP, and stars, a player will not be able to lose anything else when killed in the battle arena.
