Does anyone have any clue if we keep these trees -after- the event is over?

Could you imagine that- random dye amps or seeds whenever we wanted? *~*

Maybe we do, they would probably make it unharvestable or the candy jars are only usable during the event though.

Permanent, but can not be gathered after the event.

Not really. The price of dyes is significantly lowered right now, but it's still high enough to make decent money, and even if the trees still gave jars, the price of dyes would go back up a lot because the jar supply will go down without fishing. I have 1 of each candy tree right now, and I pick them with a maid at max disposition; and that gets me ~40 jars a day. My rank 3 fishing gets me about ~60 per tin of bait.

Though nobody would buy dyes through NX anymore, and the continuous time and massive amounts of players would easily allow them to be massed. Even if there is significantly less there would still be way more than there was before.

Yes, but no prop gives gems/nails AND berries/branches, so it's more of a mixed-prop; that you gather from with herbalism, rather than hitting. Meaning you can get 2x berries with a partner, but of course, what you get is random.

Yea. Pretty useless though. You can get up to 4x berries with a partner from regular bushes (3x if you're an elf). Then again, punch gathering can't have lucky and huge lucky gathers.

What do you mean there's an elf difference for punching props? And getting berries from trees is DEFINITELY less common than gathering from the trees.

Partners are humans. Humans and Giants can dualweild for 2 hits per click. Elves can only get up to 3 hits at a time on props(one from self + 2 from partner), while Humans and Giants get up to 4(2 from self + 2 from partner).

Any race can dual wield puppets. And either way, you're still much more likely to get berries from the candy trees than shrubs or tree props.

I'm pretty sure you actually get a longer delay if you use dual-wielded weapons on props.

If the delay is longer, it's not by much.

Have people really gotten metal dyes from the candy jars? I didn't even realize it was a reward 'til I saw it here, but I've opened hundreds of the things now. I get normal dyes so easily but 0 metal dyes. Are they just THAT rare?

I'm fairly sure they aren't a prize. That's the actual announcement on the site by the way, rewards are on the Candy Jar page.

As I said before, lets not even consider Nexon's reward list and make new reward lists from scratch. Only quote Nexon's post (which would include the reward list) and keep our reward list separate.

So, I've already verified that you can plant trees on other character homesteads within the same account. However, I need to know whether that is restricted to only being available through purchase by pons or if they can actually be created 'normally' on these alt chars.

The lollipops that you get from the jars are tradeable, so you can help a character upgrade their tree using those additional trees.

You can get medium and large "normaly" if you buy small with pons.

The seed you get from the quest and the kits for the candy trees can't be stored on pets, (I've tested it on small and medium) so if you want candy trees on other chars, you have to buy atleast the small one(s) with pons.

(S)He already knows that, he's asking if there's a non-NX method to get a free tree on another character on the account but not get the quest, which I doubt there is. =\

Well, i already said the seeds/kits can't be transferred through pets, and if anyone on the wiki knew of a [legal] way to get another seed, it would have been in the page.

I had a small candy tree, gathered 5 jars until it said I couldn't get anymore, upgraded it to a medium tree, and was able to get 6 more in the same RL day. Can anyone confirm that the extra gathers I got today were from upgrading, and not it resetting after 1 in-game day?

It was definitely from upgrading it.

I built a small tree, but i want to make it into a bigger tree, how do i go about doing this? I'll get the water n stuff, and i have a small tree in my homestead, but where do i get another seed?

Nevermind i figured it out, you have to remove the smaller tree to get the "item" in your inventory. Also the white day chocolate appears to be called Bonanza candy, heres the description.
