Wand/Staff StyleWeapon strings

  • Allows one to cast Fusion Bolt, Blaze, and Shockwave.
  • Allows one to cast Fusion Bolt, Blaze, Hail Storm, Shockwave, and Meteor Strike.

Err, how to get rid of the first line?

Infodude575 (talk)13:13, 5 January 2014

Though it can use hailstorm, every other trait is not very staff-like not including the what staves share with wands...

Zugon (Talk | contribs)15:10, 5 July 2012

Well, besides the ability to cast intermediate and advanced magic, there really is no difference between wands and staves.

Pyro - (Talk)15:12, 5 July 2012

Wands are one handed, Staves are two-handed and need charging for intermediate magic.
I think those are quite the differences.

Zugon (Talk | contribs)15:16, 5 July 2012

Those aren't large differences though. Plus, we don't know for sure if Shakespeare's sword is 1-handed. There have been in the past 2-handed weapons with 1-handed animations.

Pyro - (Talk)15:19, 5 July 2012

one-handed sword that cannot be dualwield...someone broke the game again...

S•A•R•I•A15:27, 5 July 2012

He uses it with a shield, can't use two handed weapons with a shield..?
Well, except giants, but Shakespeare clearly isn't a giant.

Zugon (Talk | contribs)15:33, 5 July 2012

Well, Shakespeare did inherit Giant abilities. But Staves are two-handed for everyone.

Infodude57515:38, 5 July 2012

Yes but Shakespeare can do everything a Giant can besides stomp. Plus, normal wands can only cast one of the four intermediate magics.

Pyro - (Talk)15:40, 5 July 2012

While we're at it someone confirm if this is dual-wieldable.

S•A•R•I•A15:41, 5 July 2012

The only reason this is classified as a staff is because of its ability to cast Hailstorm.

S•A•R•I•A15:43, 5 July 2012

Sorry Lexis, but that isn't possible. RP chars can't equip/un-equip (there are few exceptions).

Infodude57515:43, 5 July 2012

I said someone broke the game...I saw someone with it...clearly casting Hailstorm with a sword. I reported it already as well...

S•A•R•I•A15:44, 5 July 2012

It is.

Considered a bladed sword, wand, staff, and inherits all 3 elements.

Disregard that. That was for the quill sword. Didn't realize the link to the myst feather sword. Let me check.

The Mysterious Phoenix Feather Sword is not dual wieldable.

Considered a steel bladed sword and a fire wand. No dual wield.

Ahh...thanks for that.

S•A•R•I•A15:46, 5 July 2012

Does that train Sword Mastery?

Not all Feather/Quill are the same.

Infodude57515:47, 5 July 2012

Considering that it is categorized as a sword, I would assume yes, but seeing as I was not there for the event, I would not know for certain.

Ehh...It's still a feather...

S•A•R•I•A15:48, 5 July 2012

Is it even a sword? Just because it has the name "sword" in it does not mean it is a sword. Also, it has wand-like animations prior to attacking, not sword-like.

Infodude57500:17, 14 June 2012

That's what I was thinking. I tell you, there was a lot of things I should've tested in those RPs that I didn't come up with until after I finished them... What we need is somebody to confirm whether or not its boosted by Sword Mastery.

Pyro - (Talk)00:19, 14 June 2012

Strength and Combat Mastery, minus the eight max damage from Bare Hands, have to be factored out in order to test properly, I think.

Infodude57500:21, 14 June 2012

RPed as Shakespeare, got training for Sword Mastery, so the Quill Sword probably counts.

I'm not sure if the damage is affected, but Shakespeare has 516 Str and 258~411 Damage w/ Sword.
