In the off-chance someone asks: If there is an alternative location to event fish aside from Reus River, where you have to make your own fishing holes (or leech off someone else's), I don't know it.
Tried using a Vales Homestead fishing hole, stopped the moment I ended up with a Pearl Necklace.
But who knows? Maybe there's another place? Would be nice to find out if there's a spot that doesn't seal itself up after a set time.
