Lohollan

In The Book of Revenge, there is a world separate from Erinn mentioned named Lohollan. It is to be one of the current habitats of the Fomors. Should we mention it? (No there is no information or mention of it outside of the book of revenge, and that one line.)

We probably can find a place somewhere...

Speculation: Lohollan may be Another World or where Vindictus took place.

But ya, just checked everywhere, I can't find any mention of it in the Wikipedia or Google, and its not in G9-16. Haven't finished G1-3 yet.

Lohollan? What the heck kind of name is that? Is it in the myth, too?

It not being in the wikipedia was meant to imply I can't find it in the myth.

Ah, I missed that.

Its probably just one of those things that are quickly left behind by DevCAT, like the Fir Bolgs and Balor...

Lohollan is a mistranslation of Lochlann, the land in which the Tuatha Dé Danann originated from, before they came to Erinn/Ireland.

...I hope this helps.

And exactly how did that relate to Fomors in the myth?

Infodude575 (talk)10:06, 14 May 2013

In Celtic Mythology, Fomors were the first inhabitants of Erinn, they were there when everyone shows up, It's my opinion that Mores believes that Fomors are not a species confined to Erinn alone, and I would guess he even brings up the other world of "Lohollan" because if his book of Revenge ever made it there, he would hope that they read it.

I can't say for sure how it all relates to the in-game mythology. but I would guess it would relate that there are likely Fomors outside of Erinn, and that the game recognizes Lochlann/Lohollan as a canon location.

If that didn't answer your question, I apologize.
