Tin, Zinc, and Nickel

Tin, Zinc, and Nickel

These are now selectable products rather than possible byproducts. Success rates are unknown to me since everything is 99% for me. At rank 1, although normal ores take 2 ores to convert, converting to the special ores takes 3 ores per try.

  • 3 Copper Ores -> 1 Tin Ore
  • 3 Silver Ores -> 1 Zinc Ore
  • 3 Gold Ores -> 1 Nickel Ore

It appears that possible byproducts are solely gems now, but I haven't done much conversion to test this yet.

I changed the description section but my understanding of the skill may be wrong as I've never used it and based it on this talk page, so please let me know if it's wrong.

Incorrect.

I did Metal Conversion multiple times (using Unknown Ore Fragments) after the update and got Tin and Zinc like normal. Had already edited the page, but since there is a discussion... yeah.

Looks correct to me. I added what kind of ore is needed for the special ores as well just to be complete, but I need to check whether only ore fragments work or if regular ore works as well. I also added some fields to the summary table as well that need to be filled in by other lower rank people or people who can look at the data in the actual files.

There is also a new requirement for Rank 2 metal conversion with enough exp to avoid having to make diamonds to get to rank 1.

Problem is its not translated.

Its the very bottom one for 0.05 for 200 training. Everything else is the same.

My best guess is to make Copper Ingots, just based off what the rest of the requirements look like. I don't actually know Korean though.

동 means copper according to google translate though, and the rest of the "Successfully convert x ingot" requirements are the same symbols.

Blargel (talk)05:10, 5 November 2012

Sadly I've tried a lot of things. None of which work. It does translate to Successfully Convert Copper Ingots which means Iron Ingots -> Copper Ingots but the skill is glitched so the requirement never gets fulfilled.

Just gonna have to wait for them to fix it. ;~;

Well, looks like the perfect time for me to begin my Metal Conversion, then. Rank Novice tin has a 19% chance (I think. I didn't pay much attention to my Rank Novice %'s, but I -think- I had 21%, and my passives increase success of conversion by 2%), and Rank F is 45% chance. Both need a stack of 5. I'd edit the page myself, but I am completely lost when it comes to editing horizontal tables and having the cells the right size... Sorry.

VocalMagic (talk)11:10, 16 November 2012

Added. I assumed that since you didn't report Zinc or Nickel that they aren't available at those ranks. Please double check that I put the values in the right place.

Blargel (talk)18:36, 16 November 2012

Or... okay then. Can you figure out the required stack for special ore too? It's different than the normal metals.

Blargel (talk)18:45, 16 November 2012

Done.

I think we should split the table into a "Metal Conversion List" table... similar to other production, because that "summary" is getting quite large.
