Serial Commas

Always use Serial Commas after the last item before the "and" if there are three items in the series.

Example:

Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomatoes.

not

Bacon, Lettuce and Tomatoes.

Correct:

• There is mention of Partholons, Tuatha de Dananns, and Tir Bolg.

Incorrect:

• There is mention of Partholons, Tuatha de Dananns and Tir Bolg.

Err when again did I miss the comma?

There's been a few incidents, but the one that reminded me recently was this.

Bleh, why am I so used to commaless? QQ

How 2:

Using Aramet's Example:

• There is mention of (Partholons), (Tuatha de Dananns), and (Tir Bolg).
• There is mention of (Partholons), (Tuatha de Dananns and Tir Bolg).

Parenthesis represent grouping. Although if you were to group the 2nd one, you would need another "and" after the 1st comma. Otherwise, it currently refers to the Partholons, "Tuatha de Dananns" and "Tir Bolg" (implying these two are Partholons).
