The demonic weapons cannot be special upgraded, at least to my knowledge. Also the the weapon info on all of them contradicted their place on the special upgrades list.
Demonic Weapons should be special upgradable (that's like the entire point of them). The reason they were not shown as such in the weapon template is because the list is manual, not automatic, so the entries have to be added by someone before they will be shown as special upgradable.
I've never seen an instrument with special upgrade for one, also I have never seen or heard of them being special upgradeable. Seems like it should require some evidence before putting them on there. If I'm wrong about them, I apologize.
There is someone with r5 Demonic Control Bars on Tarlach, fyi.
I'm on Mari so i have never seen them.
