Exactly how does their location spawning work? Is it still random?

Well a possible spawn is north of Silva FOrest.

I found a Mammoth in Silva, then I found a Yeti a few days later in that same spot. But if I'm not mistaken they both have four spawn points.

On the topic of Yeti, right now its 5:30 Saturday, I flew over EVERY SINGLE GOD DAMN PLOT OF LAND AND FOUND NO YETI!

I went there in Alexina and he wasn't there. I flew over just about every possible location on my Nimbus and I never got bungie jumped to the ground.
