Skill ending prematurely

When the spell gives me the 10 second warning, if I try to attack anything, the skill just cancels itself. Bug?

That's supposed to be an antihacking measure to make it impossible to use hailstorm after it's duration is over, but that shouldn't happen before the 10 seconds run out. Most likely a glitch.
