User:Sakura502 brought to my attention that some stuff that were categorized in Category:NeedIcon was auto-categorized by Template:StyleItemEtc, even though they actually had icons. It also meant the items themselves had no "The following pages links to this file" thing, even though it really was.

One example was Ticking Quiz Bomb. It doesn't have the "NeedIcon" thing on the actual page, but if you look at the category page and go to the Ts, you'll find it there. Another example was Ice Crystal of Memory, which I tested a solution by manually inputting the name value, which worked.

Considering how that was "fixed", I think something's just off with the interchangability of {{{PAGENAME}}} and "|name" in the template...considering my experience, though, I've no idea if I'm right, much less know how to fix that template.

One more thing - in the NeedIcon category, I saw a lot of Falias items, too, so I think other similar templates such as Template:StyleItemFalias (which I think was a more-or-less copy-paste from StyleItemEtc?) have the same problem waitnevermind, I didn't actually look in the pages, they were just missing the icons.

Looks like it, thank you.

(...Though what's the difference between "File" and "media...?)

The template doesn't search for the difference in the prefixes.
