Renown

Basic Information

The renown overview tab.

The renown system allows players to gain combat-based bonuses by gaining favor with various NPCs.

Renown experience is gained in various ways, such as playing instruments in a jam session, or composing.

Renown Levels

Each NPC has their own Renown Level, granting separate bonuses. These Renown Levels require their own Renown Experience based on different requirements, and can be levelled up to 50. Advancement is done automatically and requires no AP. Only 10000 Renown Experience can be gained per day per character; however, watching performances at the Arpeggio Concert Hall for more than 20 minutes will reset the daily maximum training EXP for Music Renown characters (Nele, Yvona, and Briana) once per day.

Nele

You can acquire Renown from Nele through music composition.

• Complete a melody consisting of 200 or more notes (200.0)
• Clear the Musical Math Dungeon (600.0)
• Compose Skill Rank Up (100.0)
• Musical Knowledge Skill Rank Up (100.0)
• Play your Music Score that consists of 200 or more notes to the end (400.0)

Yvona

You can acquire Renown from Yvona through playing instruments.

• Play a Music Score that lasts at least 1 minute and consists of 300 or more notes to the end (200.0)
• Expertly play a Music Score that lasts at least 1 minute and consists of 300 or more notes to the end (200.0)
• Collect 1.000 or more Gold in a donation box for a performance that lasts at least 1 minute (200.0)
• Host a Freestyle Jam and play a melody that lasts at least 1 minute to the end (400.0)
• Participate in a Freestyle Jam that's been in progress for at least 30 seconds and play to the end (400.0)
• Successfully perform 5 combos during a Freestyle Jam (400.0)
• Playing Instrument Skill Rank Up (1000.0)
• Play a Music Score that lasts at least 1 minute and consists of 300 or more notes to the end with a partner (100.0)
• Complete the Pub Part-Time Job (300.0)
• Play a Music Score that lasts at least 1 minute and consists of 300 or more notes to the end in a party of 3 or more (200.0)
• Play a Music Score that lasts at least 1 minute and consists of 300 or more notes to the end without a mistake in a party of 3 or more (200.0)
• Have 3 or more people listen to a Jam Session you participated in while in Pure Music Mode that lasts at least 1 minute and consists of 300 or more notes (200.0)
• Host the Blessing of Cairbre Freestyle Jam and play a melody that lasts at least 1 minute and to the end (600.0)
• Participate in a Blessing of Cairbre Freestyle Jam that's in progress for at least 30 seconds and play it to the end (600.0)
• Successfully perform 5 combos during the blessing of Cairbre Freestyle Jam (600.0)

Briana

You can acquire Renown from Briana through music appreciation.

• Listen to a Jam Session that lasts at least 1 minute in Pure Music Mode (800.0)
• Donate 1,000 Gold to another person's donation box and listen to the performance to the end (300.0)
• Listen to a Milletian Concert for at least 10 minutes (10000.0)
• Listen to a piece your partner performs that last at least 1 minute (300.0)
• Receive a Music Skill buff from another player (100.0)
• Listen to a song from beginning to end during an NPC concert at either Festia, or the Arpeggio Concert Hall (1500.0)

Endelyon

You can gain Renown from Endelyon through gathering.

• Use a skill to gather something from nature (80.0)
• Use a skill to gather something from an animal (80.0)
• Gather a crop from your Homestead (620.0)
• Gather something from under a Rain Casting Cloud (80.0)
• Gather a Gold Mushroom (800.0)
• Catch a fish larger than 100cm (560.0)
• Acquire a gem through Metallurgy (320.0)
• Trigger a huge lucky bonus while gathering (560.0)
• Complete the Flower Shop Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the Sheep Shearing Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the Mine Iron Ore Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the Alchemist's House Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the Healer's House Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the Church Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the Grocery Store Part-Time Job (240.0)

Edern

You can gain Renown from Edern through crafting.

• Craft an item using Refining/Weaving/Handicraft skills (80.0)
• Craft an item using Carpentry/Magic Craft/Hillwen Engineering skills (80.0)
• Produce something using Tailoring/Blacksmithing skills (160.0)
• Successfully craft an item using Cooking/Potion Making skills or produce something at a Windmill (80.0)
• Produce something under a Rain Casting Cloud (120.0)
• Craft an item of high quality (400.0)
• Complete the Puppet Shop Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the Lighthouse Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the Blacksmith's Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the Clothing Shop Part-Time Job (240.0)
• Complete the General Shop Part-Time Job (240.0)

Eluned

You can gain Renown from Eluned through consuming food, drink, and restorative items.

• Succeed or Fail crafting an item using ingredients (80.0)
• Consume a handmade dish (80.0)
• Consume a craftable potion greater than a 300 Potion or Boost Potion (100.0)
• Treat a wound using a handmade bandage (100.0)
• Decrease the durability of a piece of equipment (400.0)
• Burn a piece of equipment or an enchant scroll in a Campfire (80.0)
• Share a dish with another person (80.0)
• Fragment an item using the Fragmentation skill (100.0)
• Synthesize an item using the Synthesis skill (110.0)
• Try upgrading an item (240.0)
• Try increasing an item's Erg or raising its Erg level (240.0)

• Note that level 50 Renown for Endelyon, Edern, and Eluned will roll bonus stats when you fully max the level 50 cap. When capping level 50, you have the option to reset your current exp to 414,040 and re-max level 50 once again, to attempt higher rolls.
  • Final stats at cap will vary between 541~900 MP for Endelyon, 561~940 HP for Edern, and 381~660 Stamina for Eluned.

Renown Quests

Upon reaching a certain renown level with an NPC, the player will receive a quest rewarding a unique item.

You must complete the renown guide quest given by Duncan in Tir Chonaill before the renown reward quests can be received.
