Grandmaster Tests

I believe all talents have the same grandmaster tests, just based off asking around. You just get a random test for each test you ask for. These are the missions I have received or have heard of others receiving:

• Test 1:
  • 4 person shadow mission
  • 1 person shadow mission
• Test 2:
  • Kill 100 Skeletons
  • Kill 50 Mimics
  • Kill 100 Lions
  • Kill 30 Crocodiles
  • Kill 30 Blinkers
  • Kill 30 Imps
• Test 3:
  • Clear Warden of the Gods (Hardmode)
  • Clear Guardian of Avon (Hardmode)
  • Defeat a Red Dragon

I'm going to guess that the only reason they make you pick which talent you want to take a test for is to determine which seal you receive from Lezarro. It's also worth mentioning that the first test's missions have randomized waves as well. A wave you've seen in one test (such as 3 succubi and a siren in the party mission) may not be in the same test the next time you get it.

Is this really the same for Life skill talents?

Unfortunately, I'm not sure about that, but I can ask a master blacksmith that I know is taking these tests. I'll be going on mabi in about an hour so I'll send a note to him and report back what I learn.

I was wrong. Although I didn't get a complete answer from him, he said that it's just grinding. Judging from what's filled in now for other life skill talents, it's likely that it's just making items with blacksmithing or similar things.

Or dragon fangs for that matter.

This could be used for reference but be sure to test them all before putting them on the page, as they may be different in NA.

That sounds consistent from what I've learned. Most people I spoke with were doing battle related talents so that's why I initially assumed all tests were the same. I can definitely confirm that the magic tests are as listed on that page though I've yet to get spiders, ghouls, or wights.

I have seen Wights for magic tests. Someone was complaining about getting it twice in a row.

I just got wights. Fun. It's the last test I needed too...

the ones with offensive have similar quests and the ones with production or life skilling vary on some quests but most quests are similar or even the same all the time like bard second mission: use dischord 100 times it just changed once for killing 20 balrogs.
