Advancement Test Hall/Lightning Rod
Description
Use Lightning Rod to defeat as many monsters as you can within the time limit. Defeating many monsters at once or dealing higher total damage results in a higher score. As the test rank increases, stronger monsters will appear and you will need a higher score to pass the test. |

- Wave 2:
- 12 Lightning Sprite or
- 12 Ice Sprite or
- 12 Fire Sprite

General Tips
- Defeating an enemy with a fully charged Lightning Rod will reset its cooldown.
- Defeating three enemies at once also resets the cooldown.
- Since you gain no bonus points for additional enemies killed at once, you also generally want to kill exactly three enemies at once.
- Wave 3 will always consist of either a Fire or Ice Crystal.
- At wave 4+, a green circle appears on the ground. Stepping on those will reset Lightning Rod's cooldown. The circle's location will be reset after stepping on it.
- Constantly reset Lightning Rod's cooldown and kill the golems as fast as you can to maximize the points gained.
- Do your best to stay alive during the test, as dying during the test may spell out failure due to the 2,000 point penalty.
- Grabbing a maximum of points (about 8,000 - 9,000 for Dan 3 SS) from the monsters before the boss will make the remainder of the test much easier.
- The Golem's Windmill skill can bring a player in deadly in a single hit, and its attacks inflict wounds that cannot be healed during the test. Try to avoid being hit as much as possible.
