Prisms are optical items used to study light; in Mabinogi they are used to provide temporary buffs usually related to experience gain (with the exception of the Orange Prism). Prisms require combat experience to activate, collecting 1% of the Combat EXP in order to do so.

• Using an Empty Prism will open a collection window that shows the collection progress and the option to convert it when full.
