Special Quests

Special Prompt: Fashion (Level 2)

Dai
To me, Baltane is... Well, it's a little too restrictive.
I know that this is a very serious organization. Not just Baltane, either... Everyone.
But even among the Alban Knights, there are people like me. Right? What about Caswyn, or Altam...
Oh, of course Avelin is... Hmm... She's pretty scary.
Point is, even the Alban Knights aren't that strict in the end!
I mean, look at our matching uniforms...
Nowadays, you gotta respect the individual. want to wear something more liberating!

>Prompt: What do you want to wear?

Dai
Just underwear!

> Prompt: That sounds great or No way

Dai
(They look really happy.)

Special Prompt: Dating (Level 2)

(TBA)

Special Prompt: Playing (Level 3)

Dai
As you already guessed, Kaour and I used to be friends. We came to Baltane around the same time... We got along pretty well.
What? Is it so strange that Kaour and I used to get along? Wondering how a joker and a tough guy could get along?
You know, he can be funny when he wants. Hard to believe now, right?
Honestly, I was pretty straight-laced myself... And it sounds stupid, but I had clear goals.
Hmm... Yeah, it's kinda embarrassing. Talking about stuff like this...
So anyway... We kinda had a fight, and that was it...
Friendships can be pretty fragile, huh?

(They look really happy.)

Special Prompt: Training (Level 3)

Dai
I know it's hard to believe now... But I used to get more praise than Kaour.
Kaour couldn't beat me after we joined Baltane. Not even once.
He just kept challenging me, over and over. Ha!
What? You think the present is more important than the past?
Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Hey, I can be serious when I want.

(They look really happy.)

Special Prompt: Missions (Level 3)

Dai
I used to hate listening to orders. I hated missions, too.
But now I really like it!
Once I thought about it, I realized it was a chance. A chance to escape boredom! Ha ha!
Okay, for my next mission, give me something that will take me around a week! Please?

> Prompt: Okay or No!

Dai
(They look really happy.)

Dai's Past

You seemed to have gotten close to Dai. I've been worrying about him lately. Could I discuss this with you? -Logan

Talk to Logan

Logan
I know it's hard to believe now. But when he first came to Baltane, Dai was revered.
He used to be considered one of the strongest candidates for the Alban Knights, along with Eirlys and Kaour.
He was as cheerful back then as he is now, but...
How should I put it... It felt more like he was able to focus harder back then. Now he's so restless... his mind is elsewhere.
I don't really know what happened.
I suppose rebellion is in his nature.
But if there is some other reason... I hope there's some way to bring back the old Dai.
Ha ha ha... Maybe I'm overstepping my boundaries. I guess we are all competing, in the end.
Oh, by the way... Dai used to hang out with Kaour quite a bit. Maybe Kaour knows something?

Talk to Kaour

Kaour
What is it? I don't have time for idle chatter...

> Prompt: Ask about Dai

Kaour
I beg your pardon? Who?

> Prompt: Dai

Kaour
I'm sorry. I don't understand what you mean.

> Prompt: Ask about Dai. D. A. I.

Kaour
You're really nosy, you know that?
I was just about to start training, so I don't have time to stop and chat about a selfish moron who turns on his friends because of something he overheard.

(Wow, he seems really mad.)

Was there anything else? If not, please get out of my way. I need to return to my training.

Talk to Dai

(Upon speaking to Dai, his likeability will immediately increase.)

Dai
K- Kaour?
What about that traitor? Did he say anything bad about me?
That bastard... I should have taught him a lesson back then!
Geez, I'm so worked up! Hey! (Character Name), I need a minute outside. You don't mind, right?
What? No? Why? Why? Why?
Arghhh! This is all because of that bastard, Kaour!

A Misunderstanding

I have something to ask about Dai. Could I have a moment to speak with you? -Kaour

Talk to Kaour

Kaour
It's not like I really care or anything, but...
I've noticed you and Dai have gotten pretty friendly.

> Prompt: Yes

Kaour
I see. What do you guys talk about?
Oh, don't mistake that for me actually caring. I'm merely curious how you hold a conversation with someone who possesses the intelligence of a monkey.

> Prompt: All he talks about is you

Kaour
...
...
Of course he talks about people behind their back...
What does he say about me, exactly?

(Wait a second! Was that a flash of a smile on Kaour's face?)

Let me guess. He called me a traitor?

> Prompt: Yes

Kaour
Damn! That guy... Still?
For the record, I've never betrayed anyone. Not Dai, not anyone.

Talk to Dai

Dai
Never betrayed? That's what Kaour said?
That lying-! Is he saying that I'm wrong here?
Listen, Captain! Tell me I shouldn't be mad after you hear this story.
I told you I used to be friends with Kaour, right?
Yeah, well, it wasn't just friends.
We were so close, people would talk...
Everything was fine... until he decided I was his rival.
We had a key training session. It was supposed to determine our progress... Do you know what he did?
He lied to the coach, saying that I was badly injured. He told them that I would lie about being hurt to hide my injury, because I'm stubborn.
Because he was trusted and we were so close, the trainers believed him.
So, on the day of our most important training, I was confined to my room for no reason.
And at the training he kept me from, Kaour impressed the trainers. That earned him a special mission with the Alban Knights.
I didn't even know he was behind it at the time.
I even went to congratulate him.
Yes, I went to find him at the library he studied at every day. And by coincidence, I overheard something insane.
That bastard Kaour... He was blabbering on without knowing that I was on the other side of the bookshelf.
I heard him claim responsibility for it all... And that he wanted me to stay put for a long time.
I got so angry, I knocked the bookshelf over and came at him.
I would have finished him if they hadn't broken us up...
Huh? Who was Kaour talking to?
I don't know, and I don't care! Probably another idiot like me to betray next.

Talk to Kaour

Kaour
So whatever Dai said, he's got it wrong.
Ugh, that idiot. I kind of expected him to think that.
It's just a misunderstanding, but...
What does it matter? I don't want anything to do with a guy who punches friends in the face without a second thought. I don't care if he misunderstood or is delusional or what.
This is irritating me. Can we stop talking about it?

> Prompt: Who were you talking to?

Kaour
You just don't give up. It's in the past. You don't need to--
Fine. Just stop talking about it.
I was with Eirlys. We were chosen for a mission together. We were just discussing our schedule.
That's it, okay. Now I have to train, so go away.

Talk to Eirlys

Eirlys
Huh? What happened between Kaour and Dai?
Gosh... that was a long time ago... There's no way I'd remember such a trifle.
...
Alright, fine! Just quit making that face.
So... um...
Ah, that's right! Kaour did say something like that about Dai.
I think he told the coaches that Dai was hiding a bad injury. He hoped Dai would stay down a long time...
Hm... So you are saying Dai misunderstood because this is the only thing that he heard? That DOES make sense... It would explain their fight.
Dai is a fool for jumping to conclusions... But Kaour isn't helping matters, since he won't explain.
There was more that Kaour said earlier.
I don't remember it word for word... But it was something like this.
Kaour really did think that Dai was hiding an injury. And apparently before the big incident, Dai did get injured while helping Kaour.
Now I know it must not have been a big injury... But Kaour thought Dai was holding back.
Dai is such a stubborn guy, and Kaour knew he wouldn't listen. So he did what he thought he had to do.
And I said Kaour wanted Dai to stay put, right?
It may have sounded bad, but it isn't.
Dai always goes too hard, so Kaour wanted him to take some real time to recover.

Talk to Dai

(Upon speaking to Dai, his likeability will immediately increase.)

Dai
...Huh? What did you say?
I... never would have thought...
B-but still! He should have explained himself!
No, even before that, why would he do such a thing? I mean, it's up to me how I take care of myself, right?
Sigh...
I mean... I guess he did what he had to do. Because he knew he so well...
Ahh... I've been mistreating Kaour all this time.
What should I do now? I don't think Kaour will forgive me so easily.
