Advantage came in this type of enchant scroll. It doesn't personalize the item. But you can still request...
Now, as far as trading personalized items, as long as it was not equipped after enchantment or was still equipped during enchantment, you can go ahead and trade/sell/burn/do whatever pleases you, so long you don't put it on.
