Anyone know if the Jungle/Volcano imp can pass their magic shield skills to another pet via rebirth? The low level requirements for ranking bolt magic make this pet very appealing as a stepping stone on the rebirth highway---Kaeporo 00:50, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

It's very unlikely. That would be like a skeleton passing on play dead or a mimic passing on swallow. It would pass on it's regular magic though. --~Shadoe 08:49, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Skills including special skills (such as windmill, thunder, magic shields, swallow, and spin web) are all passed to the new pet. However skills may not be useable (the stat boosts still apply). Pets who are not mimics cannot use swallow, pets who are not spiders cannot produce cobwebs, pets who cannot learn it cannot execute windmill, and pets that are not thunder spaniels cannot thunder. So the sheilds WILL be passed on, however whether or not they will be useable is unknown but unlikely. Tellos 15:40, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
