Mistake with skill ranks?

It seems Combat Mastery and Defense are switched around. While feeding my bear Tufu, Defense was the slowest to rank, while Combat Mastery was rank 6 with the other melee skills. --Sai 12:11, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

How/where to get Magic Tofu?

does anyone know how to get the magic bean tofu needed to make red pandas and polar bears larger (+ skill change)? --Rebelzrox

Feeding

So, I have to wait for it to revert to normal size after feeding it tofu. How often can I feed it until it's too big and how long do I have to wait for it to revert back to normal?

I fed my Polar Bear one tofu, and there was a hard-to-see change in his size. I was thinking perhaps I'm able to feed him multiple times before he reaches a max limit? --Dysprosium 16:01, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

The bears can eat 200 tofus max. There is no time limit between each feeding, and the bear will remain at the size until it is rebirthed. --Zephyre12:39, 23 March 2009 (EST)
-The revert to normal size thing is a lie. Spam feeding the bear tofu works fine.--Sai 12:30, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Stat Growth

Something important to note is that the stat growth also seems to change with the feedings, probably having to do with the fact that the bear seems to gain stats as it consumes tofu. However, after feeding my bear approximately 180 tofus, I took it into runda normal, killed a pirate skeleton and jumped to level 3 but the only stats that went up was will and only by 1 point.

Perhaps some further research is required into how tofu affects stat gain via levelling and just how much tofu boosts stats by because at this point, it seems to me it'd be best to level it as much as possible and THEN feed it tofu.

Are you sure Mana didn't increase by one as well? According to the level chart, the level-up stat bonuses are really low for the polar bear. In fact, only Mana and Will SHOULD have increased from level 1 to 3.

Stats and Tofu

Okay, I have a friend who's been helping me research polar bears some, and I've found that the polar bear gains stats from every 10 tofu OUTSIDE of the skill changes. Can anyone shed some light on how much this actually is? --Doomsday 03:46, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Oh uh, I forgot to mention this here >_> Yeah, the Bears have ALL their stats go up through being fed tofu though I didn't realise till later. Suffice to say that the biggest changes come in HP and Str with the base for both being over 200 and 100 respectively at around 180 tofu. I do intend to get a Red Panda later and keep a careful record of it's stats but my current thought is if the stat gain is affected by any other factors (level or age) as the stat-gain via level-up falls as they grow in size. If that's not the case then clearly the best method to take in raising the bears is to level them to a sufficient level first and then feed them.
The stat gains are from the skills ranking up every 10 tofu, not stats simply given from Tofu. --Dysprosium 16:55, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
It is not good to speak out of ignorance. Every single stat goes up every 10 Tofu, in addition to the bonuses from the skills. The numbers were compared on more than 5 samples (same bear, same level, different amount of tofu), and it became clear that the bear was gaining from the tofu itself as well as from skills. --Doomsday 07:41, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I am to assume it's speed remains the same even after feeding it a lot?

Tofu Feeding then Rebirthing

What would happen if you feed a Polar bear 200 tofu then rb. Would the Lightningbolt/Healing/Critical/Rest rank stay at rF or go back to max rank?
