Locations of "Traces of Caswyn" in the mission "Eye of an Eagle Owl"

The map that is supplied on this page showing the locations of the Heruin symbols seems to be incorrect. I'm in the mission as I type and already one of the Heruin symbols was quite a ways off. I'm going to take a guess and say that there are several pre-determined locations, and that the 4 shown on the map are only some of the possible locations.

North Western Heruin symbol matched up. North Eastern Heruin symbol was off, my Heruin symbol was further south then the one shown. South Eastern Heruin symbol was off, my Heruin symbol was by a tree closer to the entrance from Abb Neagh. South Western Heruin symbol was off, my Heruin symbols was just a little further south west then the one shown.

You could guess that, and thank you. I have done the quest on 3 different characters and the same locations worked for me on each character. I just guessed myself. That must be spots for every other player. Make edits please if you feel the need. The more help the better off for the people. If there is anymore information you can provide. please do so ^^

The location of the symbols appear to be random, but the location Caswyn is at is always correct once the symbols are found.

I'm not seeing any symbols, what am I suppose to be doing?

You are supposed to use Pihne's Gem several times and follow the directions until a symbol appears. Find four then Caswyn will appear.

Yeah I have found that maps will not help. All of the locations are random.
