Auto - Defense without heavy armor?

I pinged a few times while I was wearing light armor and no shield. The light armor has no passive defense enchants on it. I have Rank F Heavy Armor Mastery and Rank D Light Armor Mastery.

There's some sort of glitch that causes your ping to stay when you rank up your HAM or SM skills, or something like that. It fixes itself when you relog/cc.

Should this be posted in the bugs section then?

I'd think so.

We aren't too sure if that's the true culprit though. If it is, I don't think it'd be considered abuse considering how small the bonus is and how easy it is to wash away.

The bugs page is not limited to abuse. If it was abuse, we'd instead delete this thread and never speak of it again than put it on the bugs page. As for if this is how the glitch works, no idea.
