Talent EXP for Rank 2.

12,000 Talent Exp for rank 2 seems wrong. If I add up my Talent Exp for Close Combat, I'm exactly 5,000 off. Rank 4 is 12,000, Rank 3 is 14,000, then Rank 2 is 12,000 again? Seems weird. Obviously, I can confirm that Rank 1 is 20,000, but I don't remember what the Talent Exp was at Rank 2. I'm pretty sure it has to be 17,000 (although, a 5,000 point jump from 3 to 2 seems excessive when you consider the mere 3,000 point jump from 2 to 1). Can anyone confirm it for me?
