Only thing Druid has relevant to Fighter was the knuckle, which they were going to release with or without a talent (they decided against making Languhiris knuckles being staves). As for why puppetry, this is just a guess but, every hero talent needs some combat talent, what better for a performer than puppetry? It's not like there's any other skillset that gives a stat music uses.

For the puppetry, I guess that makes sense. As for the only thing Druid having to do with fighter being the knuckles, that goes back to my point of the only thing Vates has to do with close combat being the shield. :/
