Sephirot Normal Attack

Are you absolutely sure it's not Abyss Terror? I've fought Sephirot two or three times (each lasting 15~30 minutes, during shortly after Coill Abyss was released) and that arm swing was the only close proximity attack he used against me.

Abyss Terror doesn't consist of Sephirot charging towards you; he just stands still and does an arm swing that doesn't prohibit your movement during the start-up of its animation, and he doesn't have to be facing you to use it.

Oh no, It was a hit for 300~ upon him walking up to me. No animation involved or anything. But yeah this happened for the very first time in a few dozen runs so it's most likely unintentional than anything else.

2. of times that's happened: 2.

Reason: Animation failure. With a targe shield and no armor his abyss terror attack hits me for 300~400. Its very likely he just failed to animate. Did you get the extremely long disabled attack time?

Aye that was probably it. I was wondering if it was actually Abyss Terror since he did stop for a bit before i was hit. Was most likely just Abyss Terror without the animation activating.
