Clay Based cylinder's Upgrade?

I been trying to upgrade my earthquake cylinder with it's final upgrade. When I talked to the 2 alchemists about trying to add 120 hp to my spikes they don't have the upgrade. According to the wiki upgrade lists for clay bases cylinders there is a 4/4 upgrade for +120 hp. I don't know if I should upgrade with +80 hp or find a way to get this final upgrade. Can someone confirm that it is wrong or confirm that there is a way to get the final upgrade? I really want to start on the special upgrades.

Royal Alchemists need to discover the upgrade before you can use it.

Thanks, well I don't really understand how it works. Will they be discovered in order or just random? Should I just hold my cylinder and check everyday or is it rare for the final upgrade and I should go with +80? Sorry for asking so much questions

You'll have to wait till its discovered if you want it. Its totally random.
